Description		The new NCC-1717-F USS Yorktown is finally commissioned and ready for her trial runs under Captain K'Temoc's command. Meanwhile, the USS Essex with Admiral Bremer and Vice Admiral T'Lar aboard, is heading outside Federation space to a newly discovered Class-M world that's at a tech level about where Earth was during World War II. At the same time aboard Starbase 400, the new Assistant Chief Medical Officer and 1st Marine Division Deputy Commander are settling in while six VIPs are visiting.

Mission Summary

After suffering several computer system ‘malfunctions’ and anomalies, the Yorktown was able to complete its tests before receiving a distress call from a nearby Freighter. During the rescue, the Yorktown’s computer system was heavily damaged by an Ion Storm. The Yorktown had to be towed back to Starbase 400.

Meanwhile, the Essex’s Away Team was able to locate the alien technology and recover it. Another team from the Essex also discovered the alien ship adrift in orbit before returning to Starbase 400.
