Mission Summary
MD1: A week since the Dominion ship left SB400, Bremer returned from a conference with other high level Starfleet Offices and Cardassians Military leaders. Upon returning to SB400, Bremer was arrested for the murder of a Cardassian Legit and destruction of his ship. Bremer claimed his innocence but JAG Officer Commander Cobb planned to take him to Earth to be Court Martial.
MD2: In the early morning hours, newly promoted RAdm. K'Temoc used the Pegasus-B to sneak Bremer off Cobb's ship without detection. The Pegasus then set off to investigate the truth behind the charges against FAdm. Bremer. After learning the person behind the framing of FAdm. Bremer was Admiral Mendek at Starfleet Command, and his desire to end the possible Federation/Cardssian Alliance before it even started (blaming both for deaths of family members during the Dominion War, from an old friend at Starfleet Intelligence, they tracked the attackers to a hidden base in an asteroid field near the Cardassian border once used by the Maquis. While Colonel Hurd lead a Marine raid on the base, Bremer took the Pegasus-B to intercept the USS Hattori, finding it being manned by his Mirror Universe duplicate, with MU duplicates of Pike and Lokran aboard. After a fierce battle, Bremer uses the heavily damaged saucer section of the Pegasus as bait, allowing the Hattori to destroy it while the stardrive section moves in and delvers a knockout blow to the Hattori. In a last ditch effort, the MU personnel beam aboard the Pegasus. Several fire fights break out aboard the Pegasus. Lokran is able to defeat his MU duplicate, but the mirror Lokran is able to escape. Pike is able to take his MU duplicate into custody. Bremer is also able to defeat his MU duplicate and take him into custody. About the time the injured Bremer arrives on the Bridge, the Starships Defiant, Voyager, and a Cardassian Keldon class cruiser arrive on the scene, responding from DS9 to the Cardassians' distress call. The Cardassian Legit and Gul, as well as Commander Cobb tell Legit Evek, RAdm. Sisko, and VAdm. Janeway of the valiant actions of the Pegasus and her crew and Cobb officially drops all charges against Bremer. The Pegasus provide them with all data including how Admiral Mendek was behind it all. Janeway tells them Bremer still must go to Earth to answer questions regarding his escape from custody, Bremer agrees, once they are able to pick up the Marines and return to Starbase 400, and takes all blame for the escape, wanting to protect his crew.
