Mission: Episode 91 - Bremer vs Bremer
Location: Starbase 400, Ops
Timeline: MD1 1945hrs, 'Current'

ON:

After his talk with Jackson, K'Temoc arrived in Ops. He found an open console and sent a message to Pike, Lokan, Branson, Jackson, Stark, Wayne, Ramata’tar, Croesus, Solomon, and Takabe to all report aboard the Pegasus at once for a patrol mission along the Triangle border.

After sending the message, he walked over to T'Lar's Office door and pressed the chime. He knew she was working late tonight with Mike in the Brig.

Deela sat on the sofa fiddling with a toy that her daughter gave her. Raivyn thought that it would make her feel better. Deela was finding it difficult to concentrate on work or anything else. She knew that everyone was doing their best to find the evidence they needed but meanwhile, she hated Mike being trapped in a cell when he was innocent.

Deela continued to fiddle with the toy. She didn't even look up at the door, "Enter."

K'Temoc came in and waited for the door to seal. He started to speak, but saw Deela playing with a toy. "Is this a bad time?"

She looked up, "No, not at all." Deela chuckled, "My daughter saw how sad I was and thought that this would make it all better. If only it was that simple." She sighed as she set it down beside her.

Deela shook it off, "So, have you found...anything...that will help your brother?"

K'Temoc shook his head. "No ma'am. Cobb said the Cardassians want to extradite Mike for trial, and they are planning to depart soon, but we have a plan and Mike asked me to brief you." He took a step closer and lowered the volume of his voice. "I'm taking the Pegasus out on a patrol mission along the Triangle. Once the Kuznetsov departs the station we'll intercept her and covertly beam Mike and hopefully Cobb over. We should get some answers then. Mike specifically requested Pike, Lokran, Branson, Jackson, Stark, Wayne, Ramata’tar, Croesus, Solomon, and Takabe aboard the Pegasus. Stark and Wayne are already working on a way to beam through the cloak." He waited for the Admiral to reply.

Deela mulled it over for a moment, "Knowing how the Cardassians run their trials, they've already decided his fate. So, go ahead with your plan. Just make sure that you get Cobb as well. I know he is involved somehow."

K'Temoc nodded. "Yes ma'am." He turned to leave, then paused and looked back. "Admiral. There is risk here of...disciplinary action from Starfleet Command or Fleet Admiral Sevlek. Anything that happens will be my responsibility."

Deela stood up, "No K'Temoc, I refuse to let you take responsibility for this alone. No matter what happens, we are in this together. Do what you need to do to get to the truth."

K'Temoc didn't like that answer, he didn't want anyone else to possibly face charges, but he respected what she said. "Yes ma'am." K'Temoc gave a respectful nod and headed for the Pegasus.
