| Personal History | Shrivol was the oldest child born on Andoria in 2350 Ch'garn and Shakor both starfleet engineers. From an early age, Shrivol, showed an above average intelligence, specifically in science courses. However, he was physically awkward, having a difficult time even walking. It was discovered that he had a genetic condition that was extremely rare. Unable to get treatments on Andoria his family transferred to San Francisco, Earth. In the following years as treatment increased he fell in love with Earth. He developed an appreciation for a music style called heavy metal and rock and roll, due to a nurse that would play it during his treatment. in 2365, Shrivol was accepted in early to Starfleet Academy. He excelled in most of his classes, however had many issues with a physical sport that he was required to take. During this time he was able to join the swim team in order to have a physical sport on his record. Surprisingly, Shrivol proved to be a more than capable team member. The water allowed his muscles to move like they were never were able to before. Over the time of his academy years, with treatments and swimming his physical problems became less of a hindrance. Upon graduation in 2368, Shrivol began his studies in Starfleet Medical, this was what he described as the best time of his life. He surpassed many of his classmates and graduated 1st in his class. After his graduation he was immediately assigned to the USS Olympic Hospital ship, with orders to assist with casualties from the various battles on the front lines of the Dominion war. Shrivol served with distinction but was known to countermand other doctors who he felt made the wrong decision, including those who were his commanding officer. If there had not been a war, Shrivol would have had his career ending before it truly began. Despite his arrogance he managed to prove how good of a doctor he was, Shrivol, known to have always taken his oath seriously, always managed to make sure the patient received the best care possible, whether the species was a member of the Dominion or not. When the war ended Shrivol and the USS Olympic as well as various other starships assisted Cardassia and it's colonies after the Dominion's attrocities that it inflicted. After Serving the humanitarian efforts in Cardassia, Shrivol was transferred to Starfleet Medical to head the task force of Starfleet Medical facilities Inspection and Modernization. Shrivol realized that he loved the idea of being stationed on a starbase as opposed to just a starship. After over 10 years of being in command of the task force for modernization Shrivol requested a transfer to Starbase 400. |
