Mission: Episode 99 - Exordium / Epilogue
Location: Holo Suite
Timeline: MD03 1200 hours

ON:

After almost loosing Kalani Hades took no chance. He'd helped her arrange this wedding a perfect Harmony to both his Vulcan and her Orion heritage. There was even a Starfleet element to it. They decided to have the wedding at the holosuite. It would start as a Vulcan ceremony and then he'd asked Bremer to perform the Starfleet portion of it.

The scene was set, a yellow dessert with a red sky. A round Stonehenge like enclosure with a platform in the center holding a large liver gong and hammer. To the side he'd arraigned chairs for those who would be joining them. On the right stood several large Vulcan males holding various attachments to be used for the ceremony. A chair sat to the side, a purple velvet throne of sorts where the Vulcan official from the Logic Centre would sit pre start.

He was nervous but also an excitement gripped him like one he'd never felt before. They were married already by Vulcan standards, accepted by the Federation but...this would be like a fresh start.

He smiled as the guests arrived. Braxton stood to the side wearing Vulcan robes, his best man. Rol sat with the Nivar brothers and Splendora was helping Kalani. T'Mira stood to his right oddly silent. He waited for the rest of the guest to show.

Ariana arrived outside the Holodeck with Cameron, she smiled as she looked at him. "Did I tell you yet how handsome you look?"

"Not today you haven't but no matter what you say I still hate wearing a suit." Said Cameron as he fidgeted with his tie and cufflinks.

"Here let me..." Ariana smiled warmly as she made a final adjustment on Cameron's tie and kissed him on the cheek.

Freya was walking along the corridor with Kaden. She could feel how uncomfortable he was about attending the wedding with her. She smiled as she paused to turn and look at him. "Are you sure you want to come with me? As much as I'd like you'd there with me I want you to be happy doing it."

Kaden was busy fixing his Marine Dress Uniform. “I will be fine I just hope you will understand if I keep near the exit you know how I am with big crowds of strange people.” He replied.

“We’re both new here remember?” Freya smiled understandingly. “Don’t worry I’ll be right there with you the whole time.” She squeezed his hand as she held it. “Besides there’s nothing more romantic than a wedding!” With that they headed inside to get a seat.

Vox, who had not been at a wedding for at least 30 years, strolled into the venue, wearing one of his bold suits which would not look out of character for a certain Ferengi bartender. He looked around to see if he knew anyone there.

Adjusting his tie and rolling his shoulders, Liam O'Connor shifted uncomfortably as he paused just outside the entrance to the holodeck. He was a marine at heart, a barely passable bar tender by trade and wearing a suit was not something he did often. "Honestly, woman, you pick this as our second date?"

Leaning against the wall, slipping on her shoes, Carolyn Corrigan rolled her eyes. Fortunately, she knew him well enough to pick up on his light, teasing tone. And there was nowhere else she could take him that he would dress up like that.

Standing up, she ran a hand through her hair, which was currently styled in soft curls and intricate plaits, while the addition of her shoes reduced the danger of tripping over her dress significantly. She had, however, been called to sickbay earlier which meant she had spent most of the trip here still getting ready.

Fusing with the dress, Liam took her hand. "You look stunning. Now we better get in before the honeymoon starts." With that, he escorted her inside so they could find seats.

As the last of the guests filtered in the officiate from the Vulcan logic centre stood. He raised his hands and called for silence. "What thee are about to see is a tradition that has been past from Vulcan history, before the age of enlightenment, before the reformation when Vulcan passions ruled free. This," he gestured around. "This is the home of Hades recreated, passed down to his family where the unions of the family have been cemented through the generations. You are all to be witnesses of the Vulcan heart, the Vulcan soul."

He looked around and then gave a nod to Hades. Hades walked up to the platform his Vulcan robes swishing around him. He picked up a hammer and rang the gong. It sounded a deafening roar through the holodeck.

He sighed and waited. He rang the gong again. This time from what seemed to sound like a little way off a cave that was visible there was a tinkling of bells. The Vulcan ceremony leader stood. "All guest will stand. The wedding party approaches."

Ariana got to her feet smiling at Cameron before looking towards Freya and Kaden. She was fascinated by the whole Vulcan wedding ceremony, she’d never seen the ceremony before and doubted many others had either.

Kaden was busy trying to smooth out his dress uniform and making sure his medals and com badge was perfectly straight which they were. But it was something he could do to keep his mind off the big crowd around him but he was completely unaware of everyone standing as he bent down to wipe the dust off his polished shoes. “God, I hate dry places why the hell did they have to do a Vulcan wedding on this dust ball of a planet? Place is worse than that cesspit Nimbus III...” Muttering to himself as softly as possible.

Vox took precautions for the Vulcan heat and so his outfit was super lightweight. As the wedding party approached, Vox reminisced about previous visits to Vulcan. The first visit to Vulcan by Vox was when the symbiont was joined to his second host, Azrel, in 2165. She was there to paint the Vulcan landscape before heading on to the recently colonised planet of Deneva which back then and still is today, considered one of the most beautiful planets in the galaxy. The perfect place for an artist. Vox was not overly familiar with Vulcan wedding practices so this would be an education.

Mike and Janice arrived, both in dress whites. Janice adjusted Mike's collar one more time.

"I hate these uniforms." Mike muttered, flashing a smile as they walked in.

Ariana sat fanning herself in the slightly cooler, yet still warm approximation of Vulcan's temperature. She was finding the heat a little too much but she wasn't going to miss Hades wedding for anything.

Freya had left baby Hope with the nurses in Sickbay. She couldn't really bring a baby to the wedding in case she disturbed the ceremony. She had no doubt Hope would be being well entertained.

The Vulcan Official waved over Mike and Janice and pointed to a seat up front. He waited and then began again. "The bells ring."

Hades struck the gong again and then stepped down from the platform. He turned towards the sound of tinkling bells.

Elsewhere in the holodeck -- Inside the far cave

Kalani smiled as she looked at herself in the mirror. She'd forgone the dress and was in lavender Vulcan robes with gold embroidery. It was one that Hades had specially made for her. She had sent one of the Vulcan guards, an imposing man with a triangular mask over his face, to get Carolyn. T'Lar was here with her. She looked at the Admiral nervous. "I hope I do this right."

Deela nodded, "You worry too much. You will be fine." She turned her head towards the entrance of the cave upon hearing the sound of someone approaching.

"You look beautiful," Carolyn announced as she entered the cave, offering Kalani a bright smile. "Beyond beautiful. Perfect. What can I do to help?"

She smiled, "I told you that you are my woman of honour. I needed you here." She held out her hand. "Admiral T'Lar tells me that the Vulcan ceremony ends with the ringing of the gong I must allow Hades to ring it. If I stop him then that means a challenge to the marriage. I'm going to stop him from ringing the gong."

Taking Kalani's hand, Carolyn glanced at T'Lar in confusion. "I think I heard that wrong... you are going to what now?"

Deela didn't say anything as to allow Kalani to explain herself.

"I am going to divorce him using the Vulcan way." She saw the confused look on Carolyn and T'Lar's faces.

"But you love him. And he adores you more than anything. So why would you want to divorce him?" Carolyn asked, lost. "Is now the best time to decide you aren't going through with this?"

She smiled, "Relax. I want to marry him. Carolyn he's been blaming himself for what happened to me. I need to jolt him out of it. The only way is to stop the wedding until he decides he has to let go of his anger at himself."

"I remember what he was like when he found out you got hurt, vividly," Carolyn said, squeezing Kalani's hand. "You are going to be taking one hell of a risk, he's already close to breaking. What if this backfires? You are the one thing that grounds him, Kalani."

She smiled, "I know. This will ground him. He needs to know how painful it is to watch him hate himself when I love him so much. I must admit I am a coward and I do want you by my side."

"It seems to be a theme that people like me to be in the firing line when something is going on with him," Carolyn sighed, but her voice had a tone of defeat as she nodded. "For the record, I think this a harsh way to do it but if it works and it brings him back then okay, I'll be right beside you. Or wherever the two of you need me to be."

She smiled. "Thank you."

Deela just shook her head. Although her reasoning was logic, she wasn't sure if it would work out the way she hopes.

She turned to T'Lar..."this Vulcan ritual of the challenge you said I can pick my champion right?"

"Yes, you can." She needed to speak up, "Are you sure you want to declare the kal-if-fee. You do understand that Hades will have to fight the one you chose and it is to the death. I do not know if once you declare the kal-if-fee, if you can even stop the challenge. It has never been done...not to my knowledge."

Carolyn sighed, “why death? Wouldn’t it be more logical to have a game of chess? Kalani... he could completely lose it out there. Even if he isn’t a full blooded Vulcan, how would you stop him killing whatever champion you pick? And do not even think of choosing yourself.”

Deela agreed, chess would be more logical, "Kalani, this idea of yours is ludicrous. There are too many unknown factors. This whole thing could go south."

She smiled, “Actually...he's not going to fight anyone. Hades now, is not who he was months ago. He's retreated behind the Vulcan mask. My champion," she told the woman. "He will be the Hades of the past. If my research is right..." She looked to T'Lar now. "Then I can, with the permission of the Vulcan official, pick a method of combat. I want him to face his emotions and fears while we are on the holodeck. I can create a holodeck opponent. Since he is not in Pon Farr, I was told that I could state the challenge rather than the use of the Lirpa or Arnwun....I think I said that right." She looked at T'Lar. "Am I right?"

Deela shrugged, "My father did not talk much about it so I do not know. But if you researched it, then it must be a fact. I really hope that this plan of yours works. Because if it does not, I do not need to tell you what could happen."

“What exactly could happen? I’m guessing nothing good... Kalani please think this through. People he knows and respects and works with are right there. Aren’t these demons he’s better facing out of the public eye?”

She sighed, "I just want the old Hades back. He...He is afraid of feeling." She looked at T'Lar. "What would you do?" She turned to Carolyn. "And you...what would you do?"

Deela chimed in, "Me being a former Counselor, he needs professional help. Someone who get him to open up."

“I’d hate the idea of everyone being there to see me at my worst. I don’t know him as well as you do, I just don’t want either of you being hurt.”

She gave a nod. Just as she was about to say something a tall Vulcan woman came into the cave. She was elderly, beautiful, and strong. She had a spirit about her as if she was no fool. There was too much to her for her to be a hologram. "We must leave. The bells are ringing."

Kalani studied her. She hadn't seen her before but there was a familiarity about her features. She took a scientific guess, "You are not a hologram."

The regal woman tilted her silver hair. "No. I am Hades'...now yours as well, grandmother."

Kalani gasped. "I did not know any of his family..." She suddenly felt self-conscious.

The woman approached her and too her hand. "This holographic shadow is but a pale imitation of our land on Vulcan. I wish for you to see it one day child." She turned to T'Lar and Carolyn. "Will you stand with the bride?"

Kalani looked up..."My sister."

"No other Orion is here." She sighed. The last few days she'd been getting to know her sister. Why was she not here?

The woman turned to T'Lar and Carolyn. "Today you will act as the sisters in this ceremony. Will you accompany her? Walk before her?"

“Wouldn’t want to be anywhere else,” Carolyn said, flashing Kalani a reassuring smile.

Deela bowed her head slightly, "I would be honored to do so."

Meanwhile...

Kaden had noticed everyone standing and got off his chair but was still feeling like he was becoming a pot roast whomever programmed this wedding went above and beyond to make it authentic as possible to the real Vulcan. He was getting sweaty he was feeling nervous and most of all his dress uniform was getting dirty. Kaden was starting to feel timid about this whole thing he looked at Freya who seemed to be looking down the cave he tried to say something to her.

But was feeling rather lightheaded suddenly he wasn’t sure what was going on Freya had given him his medication before coming. Kaden was sweating profusely he was not prepared for the heat the only thing that he had on his mind was to find somewhere cool to go to get out of the sun and watch the wedding from there. Walking out into the aisle for the bride to walk down did his best to not interrupt the ceremony but seemed fate had other plans as he suddenly passed out and fell face first into the dirt in the middle of the crowd.

Freya leapt up from her seat and headed over to her husband, knowing there were plenty of other doctors and medics there she motioned for Hades and Braxton to keep their places for the wedding and with help from some others who were waiting she gently had her husband moved to the rear seating area where it was less crowded. She gently loosened his clothing around his neck to cool him off. “Kaden....can you hear me?”

Kaden opened his eyes sweat rolling down his face as he sat there. “Freya, can...you turn on an air conditioner or something? Feels like an oven in here...” He managed to say.

Freya smiled. “You certainly know how to worry a woman!” She picked up a small bottle of water she had with her. “Take a sip of this, it’ll help to make you feel better.” She only hoped the wedding ceremony would start soon as she didn’t want to miss it.

Kaden lifted his head and took a drink as he looked at his lovely wife. “Sorry, honey, I didn’t mean to embarrass you by passing out...” He took another drink of water. “It’s so hot in here...”

“Actually this is slightly milder than Vulcan usually is but I agree, it is warm!” She offered a concerned Ariana a smile as she looked her way. “I don’t know how Ariana is standing the temperature in her condition. I know if it was me that was in her condition, I’d be struggling to stand it. I’d like to stay for the wedding, are you going to be okay?”

“Computer, one solar-powered air conditioner and a table with a large pitcher of ice water 32-degree Celsius.” An air conditioner and table shimmered on each side of Kaden as he offered his wife a smile. “Should be okay now that I will have something to help me stay cool.”

Freya grinned and nodded. "Okay, let's just hope the rest of wedding party come out soon."

“I’ll keep him company,” Liam offered as he joined them, nodding to Kaden. “My plus one is back there somewhere with the bride...”

Just then the bells began to ring with fever. The Vulcan who was leading the ceremony stood and held his hand up. "The bridal party approaches!"

The holographic Vulcan guards parted the guests to the side and then stood at the arch watching as a small procession began from the cave's entrance. First the Vulcan guards, then, a group of actual Vulcans carrying a litter with an old woman, then T'Lar and Carolyn, followed by the bride in splendid lavender and fold robes.

Hades stood transfixed, he was here, an actual wedding. All the shadows of the past seemed to disappear.

Vox just look on in awe of the procession. `Now that's how you make an entrance` he thought.

Kaden trying to respectful of the Vulcan custom attempted to stand up along with the rest of the crowd but he felt lightheaded still and he feel the surrounding terrain around him spinning. He had sit back down in the chair before feeling the need hurl Kaden felt embarrassed he was having such a bad reaction to this hollo simulation of Vulcan. Resting his face in his hands he didn’t want to see the amount of dirty looks from the others especially the bride and groom he was already upset enough about his dress uniform that he took pride in keeping neat and clean was a mess.

Freya couldn’t help but well up a little, weddings were a beautiful thing and it reminded her of when she and Kaden got married. She couldn’t help but feel a little silly as she wiped her eyes.

Ariana smiled as she held onto Cameron’s hand, she had noticed Freya wiping her eyes at the emotion of the wedding and she gently dabbed her own as a few started to well up in her eyes.

The procession passed through the stone gates. The litter carrying the old woman was set down to the right of the gong. She gently stood and with the aid of a walking stick made her way to the platform. She motioned for Hades to stand to her right as she faced the crowd.

The silence swept through the room. "What thee are about to see is the Vulcan heart, it is the Vulcan soul. Not something shared by off worlders but changed enough to accommodate the infinite diversity of the galaxy. It will incorporate the Orion traditions, as well as the Vulcan and Starfleet. At the conclusion I will ask Admiral Bremer to conduct a short Federation service. I am T'Prel of Vulcan, I am grandmother to Hades, the Matron of the house of Soral." She turned to Hades and gave a nod.

Mike looked at Janice, "Did you know about this?"

"You look great." Janice replied with a smile.

Mike shook his head and let a smile cross his lips.

Hades took the hammer and rang the gong. "I come to plead with thee and the ancestors of Vulcan. I have chosen to take a wife and though it is not the time of Pon Farr I enter this union logically and with the passion of our ancestors prior to reformation."

T'Prel turned to Kalani. "Speak, Kalani daughter of the Orion matriarchs. Do you accept this man and what he brings to the union?"

Kalani looked at Carolyn and T'Lar. She sighed and then walked forward a little staying off the platform. "I accept."

T'Prel raised her hands and the bells tinkled loudly. She then pointed to two Vulcan guards, the ones that had accompanied her from Vulcan. The bells fell silent. "This is the lirpa a traditional Vulcan weapon, that has a fan-shaped blade on one end and a club on the other. It is used if a challenge is issued. If challengers survive then the battle continues with the ahn-woon."

The Vulcan guards showed the leather strap weapon. "A challenge, if issued, is the right of the bride." She spoke to Kalani. "If you issue it you may pick a challenger. Now you enter the marriage as an equal, if you challenge then you become the property of the winner to never hold the level of wife. You may also challenge to see if your chosen groom is worthy of you. He must prove his Vulcan heart to you. This challenge brings no blemish on thee but it does put the burden of proof on you mate. He must convince all gathered here that you his feelings are true. Do you understand?"

Kalani gave a nod. She stepped up to the platform. T'Prel stepped down and the bells rang. At the end of the ringing the bride would accept the marriage or challenge. There seemed to be a hush on the crowd.

Wasn’t much of a hush coming from Kaden he was still upset he was sweaty, dirty, quite frankly not pleased that he smelled like a thousand armpits. He wanted to take break go wash up put on a clean uniform and come back when things were more mild in temperature or the reception was in full swing. Cause right now he was dying for a Saurian Brandy or twelve anything to drink away this humiliating experience of passing out on someone’s wedding.

Carolyn held her breath as the bells fell silent, praying Kalani didn’t risk everything.

Vox was enthralled by all that was transpiring in front of him and the other guests. He thought it was a shame he didn't have any popcorn. It was more interesting and oddly thrilling than any adventure film he had seen, he thought, smiling to himself.

The tinkle of the bells stopped. Hades lifted the hammer to rink the gong one final time but stopped short of hitting it. He looked at the Hammer and then at Kalani. Smiling he offered her the hammer. She wrapped her hand around it and together they struck the gong.

When the ringing stopped T'Prel stepped forward. "Thee are not joined. Kneel for the final right."

Kalani and Hades knelt by the Vulcan official who placed a hand on each of their heads to cement the final bond. The process was but a few moments. Once done the couple stood holding hands.

T'Prel stepped forward. "Before we conclude with an Orion tradition I ask Admiral Bremer to come forth to conduct the Starfleet portion of the ceremony."

"Kalani and Hades." Mike held out his hands in a welcoming pose.

Bremer began, "The most remarkable moment in life is when you meet the person who makes you feel complete. The person who makes the world a beautiful and magical place. The person with whom you share a bond so special that it transcends normal relationships and becomes something so pure and so wonderful, that you can’t imagine spending another day of your life without them."

"Hades, do you take Kalani to be your wife? Do you promise to love, honor, cherish, and protect him/her, forsaking all others, and holding only unto him/her forevermore?" Bremer asked.

Hades held Kalani's hands "I do." He said it but not just with his words and his eyes but the very soul and heart within him. Bremer had described pretty much how Hades felt with his opening speech.

"Kalani , do you take Hades to be your husband? Do you promise to love, honor, cherish, and protect him/her, forsaking all others, and holding only unto him/her forevermore?" Bremer asked.

Kalani smiled, "I do with all that I am."

"Kalani and Hades will now exchange rings as a symbol of love and commitment to each other. Rings are a precious metal, they are also made precious by you wearing them. Your wedding rings are special, they enhance who you are. They mark the beginning of your long journey together. Your wedding ring is a circle, a symbol of love never ending. It is the seal of the vows you have just taken to love each other without end." Mike explained.

"And now by the power vested in me by Starfleet, it is my honor and delight to declare you married. Go forth and live each day to the fullest. You may seal this declaration with a kiss." Bremer finished with a smile.

Hades and Kalani exchanged rings slipping on the Latinum rose gold blended rings that marked them as husband and wife.

Mike then took a few steps back.

Hades had been just about to kiss his bride when the door to the holodeck opened and in walked an Orion/Klingon hybrid woman with a tall Orion man. She looked at T'Prel who stood. "Before we complete this wedding there is one final Orion part." She turned to Bremer. "Admiral since you are the ranking officer I will need your assistance with this." She turned to Carolyn and T'Lar, "And yours as well."

Deela wasn't aware of any Orion wedding tradition but she nodded in agreement, wondering what it was she would have to do.

From her space beside T’Lar, Carolyn nodded towards Kalani’s sister. For one thing grateful she had shown, remembering how Kalani had asked about her before the ceremony began. “Of course.”

Mike wasn't familiar with Orion customs, so he wasn't sure what would be needed. He gave a respectful nod, and waited to be told what was needed.

Both Ariana and Freya exchanged curious glances at what was going on, it was actually quite fun watching a twofold wedding now it seemed to be heading for a third part as well.

T'Prel took a moment to explain the roles each would play. The Admiral would act as a judge, usually a position held by an Orion priest. He would be the one Hades needed to convince that the union was valid. Carolyn would act as keeper of the flame. There were three candles that were brought out. Two would be lit and the one in the middle would stay unlit until Bremer pronounced that the union was valid. T’Lar would be flame guardian.

Kalara stepped up. “The Orion nation like the Klingons are warriors. To win his bride and the right to be her husband you, Hades must complete a challenge. “Admiral Bremer, Hades will have to, with words convince you that he loves my sister. If he does you will order Admiral T’Lar, who will act as the house Matron, to light the large purple candle she has in front of her from the fire pit. Hades, you must light the middle candle with that flame so that Caroline who is in the sister role can light the candles representing you and Kalani thus making the union legal in Orion eyes.”

Hades sighed, “Why do I think it’s not that easy.”

Kalara smiled, “To get to the candle Admiral T’Lar is holding you must go through me, my brother, and them.” Three large Orion med stepped forward holding Lirpa like instruments.

Hades held back a groan.

“If you get past them you must then convince Admiral T’Lar to give you the candle. Think like a Ferengi.”

Mike let out a breath and started to roll his eyes while he thought to himself, ‘Think like a Ferengi, what’s he supposed to do, bribe them?’ There was already no doubt in his mind that Hades loved his new bride. Mike was also thinking how happy he was that he and Janice had a tradition Christian wedding with Klingon touches.

Deela just stood there, taking in what her duty was. This was a little strange, she thought.

Mike eyed the Orions for a moment, then watched Hades to see how he would handle the situation.

Hades seemed thrown for a second and then a bright idea hit him. "Alright." He said. "Let me see if I have this straight. "Convince Bremer that I love Kalani, Bribe Admiral T'Lar to give me the candle, light the center candle," He said walked towards his sister in law and putting a brotherly arm around her. "Then Carolyn lights the other two candles and it's done?"

Kalara sighed, "Yes but not so simple. You have to get through them, my brother, and...." The rest of the sentence was lost as Hades administered a sneaky nerve pinch. She had said think like a Ferengi...they would be devious.

Seeing the rest of the group he had to 'get through' kick into high gear he shot a glance at Harries who'd assisted with Kaden's revival. Understanding Harris tossed a silver object to Hades who caught it and twisted away in time to avoid one charging Orion screaming it's not fair. He turned left and pressed the silver object to the Orion's chest and let it hiss out its contacts. The Orion dropped. "Two down two to go!" He said happily. He wasn't going to let some asinine custom keep him from his bride.

It wasn't the ideal. Hades never liked to show is strength but given that he had no choice....

Before he could react a crash drew his attention and of the last Orion too. He turned to see Kalani had knocked out the biggest one with a pot of some kind. He grinned and made short order of one left who was distracted by the sound. "Well that was easy." He said. Grinning he walked over to Bremer. "The bigger they are the harder they fall. Permission to finalize this wedding. I'd sort of like to be married this century."

He heard a few giggles from the crowed.

Carolyn bit down on her lip to silence a laugh as she watched Hades and Kalani make short work of the first stage. "Remind me not to turn my back on you," she grinned, whispering in Kalani's direction.

She dusted her hands off. "I've been waiting too long to marry him. I should have packed a phaser in my garter. Nobody is going to prevent him and I from getting married...besides they said nothing about the bride not being involved."

Ariana and Freya exchanged bemused glances as events unfolded. Ariana was busy fanning herself to keep cool glad she'd chosen something airy and light to wear.

Hades turned to Bremer. "I assume, Admiral, you agree that I love this woman."

Mike paused an eyed Hades for a moment. He looked over at Kalani then back to Hades. "I think that's obvious to everyone here."

He gave a solemn nod. When he turned to T'Lar he looked at the Candle. "We could do this the Ferengi way but I assume you have no objections to me taking the candle?"

Deela shook her head, "No objection here." She held out the candle.

Hades took the handle and in a comic episode worthy of praise he stumbled over his robes lit the middle candle and looked at Carolyn. "Okay light those suckers and we're done."

“Spoken like a true romantic,” she teased him, just quietly enough for him to hear as she lit the remaining two candles.

When the candles were lit and before the Orions woke up with headaches he kissed his bride and declared the wedding over, much to T'Prel's amusement. "Friends," Hades started, "Now that the wedding is over I ask you all to join me at Good Fellas for the reception. A huge thank you to Mr. Vercetti and his team for arranging that.

Ariana had to admit she'd never been to such an entertaining wedding, it was certainly one that would be talked about for a while and she wasn't intending on missing out on the reception either.

Kaden took a drink of water and watched from afar eager for this wedding to finish he was glad his and Freya’s wedding was not that long nor roasting hot for that matter. But he wanted to go wash up and get into a clean dress uniform if he was going to the reception.
