Personality & Traits
General Overview | A former marine, Liam would be the first to admit that travelling all the way to SB 400 to tend a bar is not where he had expected his life to be. However, he is a very calm and relaxed person who believes life will eventually take you to where you need to be. He enjoys listening to people's stories, about the places they have been and the lives they have lived. But for him, for now, he is just drifting. Trying to find that sense of belonging he had with his unit during his last tour of duty. Unable to feel quite at home back on Earth, he accepted his uncle's offer to come and work for him and perhaps see another part of the galaxy. |

Ambitions | To get back that feeling of belonging somewhere that he had during his tour of duty. | |
Hobbies & Interests | Fitness is a huge hobby, be it in the gym, doing drills in the holodeck or even swimming. Since retiring, he has developed a fondness for building things and is teaching himself new skills and techniques all of the time. This is in part why his uncle suggested he come to the base, so he could put the skills to good use. |

Personal History | Liam likes to consider himself an open book. He talks fondly of his family, of his siblings but not so much about his time as a marine. Nevertheless, he does value his time there, feeling it made him better. In his younger days he was unruly, usually given the freedom to do whatever he wanted with very little parental supervision. It wasn't until a security officer, while placing Liam on his final warning for disorderly conduct, commented that he needed the marines to get his head straight and teach him some control. That one conversation changed his life. But as in all things, there was risk. When most of his unit was killed in action, he had to survive for alone on a remote planet awaiting support and help which took weeks to come. When he made it home he was a changed man, his marine family lost and his belief in the corps irrevocably damaged. Eventually, he made the decision to return to civilian life but he was drifting from one job to another, sleeping on his brother's couch. When it came, he took up the offer to help his uncle with plans to expand his business aboard a starbase. |
