Physical Description Ariana is the a-typical looking Betazoid with the dark hair and dark eyes, she has several scars across her back where she was injured in the explosion that led to the death her husband. Her hair is long but she keeps it tied back whilst on duty.

General Overview Ariana is a friendly outgoing young woman, her abilities are considered strong for a half Betazoid as she was born with her abilities already functioning, something she has worked long and hard to learn to control and live with.

Hobbies & Interests Ariana loves to collect souvenirs of places she's visited, she also loves to watch old earth movies and read real books rather than read everything on a PADD. Ariana loves to help out where possible and has a knack with computers just like father hence her love of helping out at Ops if she gets chance.

Personal History Ariana was born aboard a starship, part of an a-typical Starfleet family. She never knew her real father but her step father raised her as his own. Ariana was raised aboard various starships and starbases but also spent a lot of time in Federation medical facilities due to the stresses and strains of having her Betazoid mental abilities already 'switched on'

Ariana had a happy childhood, Being the younger of two children Ariana chose to follow in the footsteps of her parents and older brother and join Starfleet, enrolling at the academy at the age of 18 she found it a struggle to start but soon found her footing and came to be a talented and well liked student.

She continued her Starfleet career Specialising in Counselling and Operations Management Ariana flew through her classes and graduated with honours. As part of her Counselling training she also had placements at Starfleet medical and aboard several starships during her time as a cadet.

It was during her time aboard the USS Saratoga that Ariana met & fell in love with her future husband Jonathon, a marine. After a whirlwind romance they married only to be torn apart just short of 4 years later by an explosion which almost killed Ariana as well. The explosion had been intended to kill as many of the marine detachment as possible unfortunately Ariana had volunteered to help with the yearly psych evaluations that day so she had become entangled in the blast along with Jonathon and a number of other marines. He was given months to live so Ariana took compassionate leave to be with him, in the end Jonathon managed to survive just short of a year the two of them celebrating the news that Ariana was pregnant just a month before his death. Taking a further month to gather her thoughts and feelings Ariana decided to take an assignment and continue with her career as Jonathon would have wanted.

Ariana suffered the loss of one of her unborn twins, with another part of her late husband gone she celebrated the arrival of her daughter Stacey Grace.

Having met and fallen for business owner Cameron Wayne, the two have had the shock news that her baby is that of Cameron and not her husband (having believed her baby to be that of IVF with her husband)

Ariana also discovered that General David Hurd is her biological father, having travelled in time during his time with section 31 he met and fell in love with her mother. She had also been left with the realisation that the section 31 program her mother was a part of whilst in the early stages of pregnancy, may not have worked for her mother but has for her..

With the help of her friend Doctor Hades Ariana visited the First Federation planet, where she was blended with the alternate personality triggered inside her by section 31. The personality was more powerful than her normal personality and as a result Ariana now has abilities rivalling those of any full blood Betazoid, the downside being she requires the use of an inhibitor from time to time to stop herself being overwhelmed.

Ariana and Cameron had their second child, a son named Andrew. They happily married early 2400.
