Mission: Episode 94 - Return to Rashanar
Location: Various Ships
Timeline: MD2 1335hrs, Following "The Boneyard Pt2"

ON:

USS Ark Royal, Bridge

Having been advised to standby by the Conqueror, he decided to proceed with the next starship they had located: The Akira Class USS Winchester.

"Helm, keep us at a holding position once we arrive at the Winchester. With the raiders active in the local area, I don't want any sudden surprised whilst the Engineering Teams are on board," he orders.

With the Ark Royal on its way, Jack checked the sensor information that Ops had managed to locate about the Winchester which was sent to a PADD. Whilst reading the information he pressed the comm button on the command chair.

"Solomon to Commander Croesus, Lieutenant Sullivan and Staff Warrant Officer Blackthorne...please report to Transporter Room Two for your next briefing," he ordered. Looking over at his Executive officer and new Assistant Chief Engineer, Lieutenant Fulton.

"Follow me Lieutenant, I have an interesting assignment for you..." he said before nodding to Lt Regan to take the command chair. Solomon headed to the turbolift and once Fulton joined, he requested deck eight.

Reading the PADD before him, Jack was concerned about this next ship. "According to the scans we've taken, the hull of the Winchester is extremely weak...however it seems that the Computer Core has somehow retained enough power to keep hold of the ships logs and sensor data of the battle and of previous missions," Jack explained.

"Along with the Core information, theres also several interior areas near to the core that house phaser rifles and the like. If its possible, check them out and see what state they are in," Jack explained. "If the ship was boarded they should've been handed out as combat assignments so it makes little sense at this time.

"The last part is that the Bridge is apparently accessible, any information you can get will be useful. Once all three teams are finished, wipe the core," he ordered.

Soon after the Turbolift arrived on Deck Eight. With his signature tool kit in hand, the half Klingon officer Croesus arrived ready for duty to the transporter room

Xelonul arrived on Deck Eight and walked over to Croesus. He carried his tool kit and had a phaser holstered. Lieutenant JP Robinson, who was also on 'Team Three' with Blackthorne arrived a moment later. "Team Three is here Lieutenant."

Croesus nodded to Xelonul.

Jack smiled as he saw team three ready to go. After checking his PADD, Jack handed out his orders to them.

"Commander, your team will go aboard the Winchester and check out the Computer Core," he explained. "Somehow this has retained power and I'nm curious to know why when we're in a field of dead starships..." Jack fininshed before making his stance clear.

"Be careful... There maybe booby traps or other interested parties involved here."

Croesus made mental note of this and was determined to be the one to sole this mystery.

USS Falcon, Sickbay

Slowly coming back to it laying on a bio-bed, Colonel Hurd was filled with fury. Not just any fury, but with a cold, ice chilling fury. Tapping his combadge he said, "Colonel Hurd to Henry, Calthier, or McMichaels, or anyone else one Bridge status report".

"Colonel. This is McMichaels. We're getting back into the battle. You recover, Sir " Patrick responded.

Calthier was in Sickbay and helped finish treating Hurd's injuries then scanned him with a tricorder. "Your injuries aren't serious, Colonel. But you do need to rest, as Major McMichaels suggests, sir" he said.

"The Hell i do Calthier, with respect, im going back to my bridge". Sliding to feet and standing, Hurd said, "Hurd to McMichaels, I'll be reassuming command as soon as i get back up there in about 5 minutes".

Deb understood Calthiers point of view he was being protective of the chain of command.. It only made her love him more and want to be his mate forever.. "Colonal we're still in this fight but the Paris islands a gonner if we don't act Now?!!"

"Alright listen up", Hurd said as he left sickbay and made his way to the bridge. "Anything that takes a pass at the Paris Island, or even looks like it, i want the ever loving hell knocked out of it, also, re-rout and extend our sheilds and SIF fields and extend them around the Paris Island, Also, unload the Photon Torpedoes and load the Quantum Torpedos, set to maximum yield".

Hells Yes.. Bout Damn time they starting actiing like Marines again.. Deb ordered the start up of all her fusion plants.. The six plants would give them plenty of power to use. The Falcon closed from the "north" the pirates were coming from the opposite side... When they closed to under 600k kilometers Deb extended the shields and Sif.. This left them with little manuvering but a nearly unbreakable shell...

Patrick stood there, waiting for David to relieve him again. "You re not dismissing me again, Colonel. My position is your First Officer" he said.

Stepping onto the Bridge, Hurd said, "Alright, this has to be done quick." "Casion, on my signal, I want you to direct a 4.5 megawatt energy transfer to the Paris Island's Dorsal phaser array, McMichaels, I want you to advise the Conqueror and our fighters to adjust their shields by a frequency change of 22 percent." Walking to the front of the bridge, he pointed and said, "I want those pirate vessels herded in between the Paris Island, and these three ships, and when that energy discharge hits the Phaser Array aboard the Paris Island, it will ricochet between all four of those ships, creating an area of effect like a giant mirror, knocking out their shields, engines, and knocking the crews out cold".

It was a very good idea.. Beyond what Deb thought the Colonel capable of.. It took all of three seconds to set it up.. "Ready on command..."

"McMichaels to Conqueror and all fighters. Adjust your shield modulation by 22% and head to the following coordinates" Patrick said.

"McMichaels, status of the trap, and contact the Conqueror and Fighters and see if they are ready to spring it.?"

"McMichaels to Conqueror and all fighters. Status on Trap" he requested. "We're in position and ready on our end, Colonel " he said.

Conqueror Bridge

The comm officer relayed the information from the Falcon to Andre. He nodded, then looked across at Dalenna, "Make it so, Commander. I don't know what he has planned, but if there is the chance to put this lot out of action, we'll take it."

"Yes sir." Dalenna went ahead and changed the shield modulation, "Shield modulation adjusted."

Nodding he spoke to the helm officer, "Move the ship to the coords given by the Falcon. Upon receiving confirmation that the ship was now moving towards the coords given, Andre tapped his comm badge, "Conqueror to Falcon, Shield modulation and course adjusted as requested. It's your show now."

USS Mercy: Sector 4.5 on search Grid

Jonathan checked and double checked his readings. "Doctor Hades..."

Hades looked up from his control panel. He stood and walked over to the young Ensign.

"We're getting a distress call. Sector 7.3 of the search grid," Jonathan said. "I've tried to hail them back but nothing."

Hades leaned over the man's shoulder and checked the readings. "Helm set course advise the other ships what's going on." Hades said returning to the chair. "Go to Yellow Alert. Tell all teams to stop recovery and mark where we stopped."

He hit the blue button on the side of the command chair. "Attention Mercy Crew. We have received a distress call. We cannot return hail and are about to head there. I want all crew to be ready. Yellow Alert."

Eviess raised an eyebrow at the announcement. "Mr. Matthews one of us would be required on the bridge. I'd rather not go would you mind?"

"Yes ma'am" he said, taking the turbolift to the bridge and reported in. "Lt Matthews reporting in"

Hades looked up and was happy to see a new hand on the bridge. "Mr. Matthews I need you on the science station."

Kevin looked strangely at Hades but did as he asked. "Aye, Aye, LT" he said with a nod and seated himself at the science station. Medicine was one thing. Science was a different animal altogether.

The young ensign at the helm piped up, "Sir approaching distress call location. Five minutes to intercept."

Hades sighed and sat down in the big chair. "Open hail and try again."

He turned his head and watched the woman at coms work. "Anything?"

She shook her head. "They can send out and they are in fact receiving but...hang on let me try something."

Hades gave a nod and looked at the small ship. "Mr. Matthews scans on the ship?"

William scanned the salvage ship. "Sir, they have no warp or impulse power. Looks like auxiliary only..... 8 life signs...... 5 Ferengi and 3 Orion...... Looks like ..... all but 2 Orion and a Ferengi are injured. No weapons systems active.... 2 hull breaches though. I recommend immediate evac, Sir" he said.

Hades gave a nod. He hit the coms, "Sickbay prepare for casualties in cargo bay 3."
