Mission: Mission 82 - The Aggressor

He looked around the room, "Anyone else have any questions?"

Torilla nodded. "Just that if the Gorn are testing us... do we have a response prepared for dealing with a Gorn force in Federation space?" she inquired. "Also. we should consider if the attack on the USS Buraq and our deployment here were part of an overall Gorn plan to cause trouble along the boarder...they may strike another tgarget while we are focused elsewhere...since it is just us and the Avenger in this area.." she paused. "No I have no proof of anytthing... just educated guesswork."

"I understand your concern Lt Commander. but that's a bridge we'll have to cross when we get to it. For now we can only wait and see", He looked over at Colonel Hurd

Col. Hurd looked up at the Captain and said, "Sir, my first step in shipboard defense is to issue and require, with your permission, all ship's personel, to carry side-arms for the duration of this mission". Pausing for a moment, he continued, however i am open to suggestions from everyone as well"

"Shouldn't we try to make contact with the Gorn first? The recent raids and attack may be the acts of a rogue, or perhaps an outlaw. We just don't know the whole story," Tressa added.

Col. Hurd sat there, an impassive look on his face, and listened to the conversation going on around him, awaiting any questions directed his way.

Andrew nodded, "Agreed, and if there is nothing else the meeting is closed. Back to work people, we have a lot to do before we arrive."
