Mission: Mission 82 - The Aggressor
Location: Cestus III
Timeline: Mission plus 36 hours

Andrew watched the screen as Cestus III came into view. Sitting at Ops, Lt Maxwell called out the ETA. Normally this would be the helm officer, but he probably wanted to make an impression. Judging by the look the helm officer shot him Andrew thought he had probably succeeded.

"ETA two hours Captain", he called

Andrew turned in his chair to acknowledge the call, then turned back towards the front. "Helm, drop us out of warp as soon as we can make a full sensor sweep of the system. as soon as we drop out of warp go to yellow alert".

20 minutes later the ship slowed to sublight.

"Sublight Captain", the helm officer didn't shoud he just spoke.
"Yello Alert established, Captain", called out Lt Maxwell.

A few seconds later the on duty tactical officer spoke, "Sir, I'm picking up one ship in the system. It's the Buraq!"

Andrew spun round quickly, "What's she doing here? The Buraq should have been out of the system long ago. What's their status?"

The tactical officer continued scanning, "No life signs registering, Hul registering heavy damage, Captain."

Andrew tapped his com badge, "Clifford to all hands. Commanders Lokran, Yamaguochi and Brislan and Colonel Hurd to the bridge".

"Helm take us in for a closer look, full impulse and raise shields. Tactical full sensor sweep and keep scanning. Arm all weapons, but do not lock on to anything unless I give the order".

A chorus of acknowledgements echoed around the bridge, and ship moved ahead towards the apparently crippled USS Buraq.
