Commander Coleman sat at science one, right after Lt. Smith beamed down to Earth. Captain Harrison said something about an extra, fourth person being down on the planet. Harrison walked over to Coleman and started talking to him.

She spoke just loud enough for him to hear, "I don't know about you but there is something about this Smith thing that doesn't sit well with me. What was so important that he'd risk compromising this mission?"

Coleman thought back to when he was in engineering with Lt. Smith and he seemed on edge. Coleman said in a hushed voice, "I'm not sure, but when I was in engineering with him, he seemed a little on edge and was clinching his fists for no apparent reason. So, I'm not entirely sure. Do you think maybe he could have had something to do with the cloak or something and the ship going down a little bit, since he's the chief engineer?"

"He had the opportunity. Truthfully? I don't know. He was obviously upset about something but I can't believe that he would do such a thing. But then again, he did break protocol and beam down to the planet." The Smith she knew wouldn't do such a thing.

"Yeah, I've been wondering about him ever since then and with what happened recently with him, it makes me wonder what's happening with him and if whoever's leaking information to the Romulans could be behind whatever Smith is doing." said Coleman, pondering the thought for a minute.

"It's possible. I wish I could go and check out Smith's quarters but with the Excalibur moving towards our position, I can't leave the bridge." Harrison sighed, "Everything is so hush hush right now that it is making me crazy. I haven't seen Weatherlight for a while either."

Coleman said, "Yeah, I know how you feel. It's messing with my nerves and stuff. But, couldn't you do an internal sweep of his quarters from the bridge, like from your station? Or would that send up too many red flags?"

"Not only that but even if I did, it wouldn't do us any good because he is already down there and we have no way of talking to Bremer unless we do the same as Smith. I could check the computer logs and see if Smith had any encrypted messages either received or sent but then again, it may be too late."

Coleman then said, "It could never hurt to try. I can look over the sensor logs from the past several hours, to see if I can find anything wierd."

Then, they both work on it and try to figure out what's been going on Earth and the Pegasus, as things seem to get wierder and wierder.
