This was just getting stranger and stranger by the minute. Now they were being boarded?
"Have a security team meet us in the transporter room and prepare an appropriate reception for our guests."
Alexandra watched them leave as Winter nodded to her.
"Security, this is Captain Harrison. I need a security team to go to transporter room one. Looks like we have guest boarding." She felt that she should be there as she was the head of security and she didn't trust anyone anymore.
She took a deep breath, "Commander, I request that I be allowed to join my security team at the transporter room." She lowered her voice, "Inform me of anything out of the ordinary."
Winters replied, "No can do. I need you here on the bridge."
Alex wanted to choke him on the spot. After all, she did outrank him but she kept her cool, "Yes sir."
After some time, she was feeling restless. She wished she knew why they were being boarded by this Captain Dutour and why they were being intercepted. Before she knew it, she noticed that the boarding party had beamed back to the Excalibur with one extra person. "What the...?"
"Lt. Monroe to Captain Harrison. You asked me to report to you if there was anything unusual. Well, General Bremer was escorted to the Excalibur. They've," he paused, "have arrested her...for several murders and attempted murders."
"Those are bogus charges. General Bremer? Murder?" She was now pissed. She addressed everyone on the bridge, "They've just arrested General Bremer. Who's next?" She first looked at Commander Winter, "You? Coleman? K'Temoc? Maybe I'm next. Was this even part of the Admiral's plan? You know the charges are false. Why are we just sitting here, doing nothing?"
Harrison was obviously upset. She was confused as well as frustrated. She blamed a lot of this on Smith right now. If he had never beamed down without authority, the Excalibur would not have found them and the General wouldn't have been arrested. She had the right mind to throw Smith into the brig and let him rot there. She had others in mind as well.
She just stood there with her fist clenched and her heart pounding a mile a minute. At this point, she didn't care if she got reprimanded or not for this outburst. It was all getting out of hand and rediculous.
