Splendora and Braxton were the first ones out. They spoke to the head of Dassik Security and then boarded Tom's ship which was now in a shuttle bay on the mother of all ships. A monster that had de-cloaked and towed in their little ship.

She sighed as she entered, the whole group waiting by the entrance. "Well good news and bad news. What do you all want first?"

Ariana sighed. “Let’s have the bad news and get it over with.”

"We won't get to see where we're going. The ship will take us the rest of the way."

Ariana smiled. “That’s okay I’ve been here before anyway. So what’s the good news?”

"We are guests of the Dassik....although I'm not sure if that's good news. Um..." She looked at Tom. I apologize ahead of time....I'm going t have to um... ham it up as is expected of someone who is family of Hades." She looked at Carolyn. "You may need to follow my lead."

Tom just gave a reluctant nod.

“Sure,” Carolyn nodded with an almost resigned sigh.

The small group exited the little ship and entered a hall of sterility. The steel coldness of the room made it seam as if not a snifter of warmth was in the ship. There three tall and well armed guards waited. The one with the most chevrons on his jacket stepped forward. "We will conduct you to a guest holding facility."

Splendora gave a nod to Carolyn and then stepped forward. She drew herself up with the courage she didn't feel. "How dare you? I am the sister of Lord Hades you will conduct our party to VIP guest quarters."

The man sneered as if calling her bluff. This was a serious matter. Without warning she lashed out and knocked the man on his ass. He looked up. "I see you have your brother's temper."

Tom tensed up, ready to fight, then just let a slight smile cross his lips.

She grinned. "I believe you were going to conduct us to quarters." As he stood up he stared her down and then nodded. "Follow us."

Splendora held in a sigh of relief and then fell into step beside Tom holding his hand just ensure he was there.

Ariana was impressed with the way Splendora handled things, she was glad she didn’t have to prove herself worthy. She kept in step with the others offering Carolyn a smile as they followed on.

The group walked slowly through the hall. There was a silent order to things that was quite unusual. Small hollow see through tubes lined the walls. Splendora, regretfully, knew what they were, a remnant from the troubled past of the First Federation.

Once they arrived in the VIP guest quarters Tom looked around for a moment, getting the layout of the room. He then picked up a glass and poured some Tranya. He took a sip, then set the glass down. "Now what?" He asked of no one in particular.

"I think I'll try to sleep a little," Carolyn replied with an apologetic smile, "it's being an exhausting few days."

Splendora sighed. "That's a good idea," She said to Carolyn. "Now," She began looking at Tom. "Now we wait and get taken to the big base. As for me I have to make myself...seen. You all know Hades as Hades but...well he's not the same person here. Here he is the feared Lord Hades and if we think this will succeed in anyway I have to play the part of his sister Lady Splendora and that means...a whole hell of acting." She walked over to Tom. "Okay get some sleep with everyone. We'll be there by morning."

With everyone else turning in for the evening Ariana headed for her quarters. She couldn’t help but wonder how Cameron and Stacie were, once she got back she was going to make up for lost time with them both.
