Mission: Mission 86 - Discovery
Location: USS Sutherland/SB400
Timeline: MD3-1130h-After Yorktown's arrival

0700h, USS Sutherland

Both Jewel and David and the medical team were aboard the USS Sutherland, she sent a message off to Starbase 400 letting them know they be arriving later on today. Once that was set she looked at her Helmsman. "Set a course for home at slipstream drive." Jewel stated with a smile, she was glad that they were finally heading back to the Starbase.

"Aye sir, course laid in." came the reply.

"Engage slipstream," She ordered as the ship began to move then transition into slipstream with ease. She sat on the bridge for awhile thinking about things. She hoped David was going to handle the ride home.

She decided she would go and check on him and maybe relax a bit while they were on there way. It will still be 4 1/2 hours before they would arrive at the Starbase so that would giver her enough time to relax and make sure David was handling the slipstream.

"Lieutenant Maxium, you have the bridge. Please inform me when we have reached the Starbase." Jewel stated looking at the officer. "Aye sir," he replied as Jewel stood up and walked to the turbo lift. She made her way down to her quarters.

Once she arrived at her quarter she walked in and seen David, "Hey honey. How are things holding up?" She asked as she walked over to the bed and kissed him. David looked at her and smiled, kissing her back. "Still sore but I'll be alright." David added, "Thats good, we are on our way back to the Starbase. Now it's time to relax a bit before we arrive." Jewel stated as David nodded. Jewel slowly climbed into bed next to him and was soon fast asleep.

1130h, USS Sutherland

"Bridge to General Hurd," Came the bridge. "Hurd here," Jewel stated. "We have arrived at Starbase 400 and have been cleared for dock." Came the reply. "Thank you Hurd out," Jewel stated as she then looked at the doctor. "Make sure he gets to our quarters safely, I be there shortly." Jewel ordered. "Aye sir," the doctor stated.

She walked out as the Sutherland docked. Making her way out of the ship she had there belongings sent to there quarters. After what seemed like forever she made her way to her quarters where she made sure David was there and comfortable.
