Making Plans

Location: Admiral Bremer's Officer, Starbase 400
Timeline: Following 'A Father Figure'

ON:

A few moments after Q left, the door chimed, then Pike and Harrison entered the Officer.

“Please, have a seat.” Mike said to them with a smile.

Lee nodded and waited for Alex to sit before taking a chair himself.

Alex sat down and turned her attention to Mike.

"You wanted to see us Admiral?"

"I did." Mike started, "I know you both have been planning a wedding for a while now. Have you set a date? I ask because General Dartt and Colonel Hurd are also planning a wedding, a Klingon Ceremony complete with Hurd's walk down the Path to Kal'Hyah. They are trying to get everything together for next week. I didn't want their plans to infringe on yours and vice versa...I wasn't even sure what your plans were."

Alex glanced over at Lee with a surprised look. She had been waiting so long, it seemed, to get married and now there was another wedding and a Klingon wedding at that. "Well, we were hoping to get married as soon as my parents can get here. It seems like everytime we are ready to get married, something happens. So, I...we...would like to get married hopefully this week." Alex looked at Lee again.

Lee looked back at Alex and nodded:"I agree that since Alex and I have been planing this for awhile now, including having a Klingon wedding that we would like to get married this week."

"All right, this week for you guys, next for Hurd and Dartt." Mike replied with a smile.

"What kind of ceremony did you have in mind?"

Lee looked over at Alex then back to Bremer:"Well we where thinking of a Klingon wedding since Alex didn't want a Betazoid wedding."

"I like traditions but the Betazoid wedding tradition is not one of them." Alex joked. "I never did understood the reasoning for the nudity." A Klingon wedding tradition for her was much easier to understand.

Lee shrugged:"I still don't know who decided that tradition for Betazoid wedding."

Mike smirked, it wasn’t as if the majority of the Senior Staff was just nude together a short time ago in Ops that’s to the new Q, “Klingon seems to be the theme. Perhaps Lee, you and Hurd should get together and travel the Path to Kal’hyah together. It’s a little unorthodox, but I think under the circumstances it’ll be acceptable. Who are you planning to invite along with you?”

Lee sat there for a moment thinking:"I might consider taking it with Hurd, will give it some thought. I do plan on having Sgt. Maal go with along with my cousins Colonel Jack Pike, Colonel Joseph Pike, Colonel Nathaniel Pike and Captain Sartak Pike."

Mike nodded. "Then I suggest they get here, fast." He thought in his head, there would be about ten to twelve on the Path to Kal'hyah, and even though that wasn't unheard off, it would make for an interesting time.

"A bond with one's closest male friends and family is a joyous time, filled with song and tales of glory. It's not something that is to be taken lightly, it will test everyone involved...I will see to that." Mike added with a smile.

Lee nodded then closed his eyes for a second:"Actually Admiral in about 30 seconds you will find out that the U.S.S New Hampshire-A, U.S.S. North America, U.S.S. Wolfbane are here. And that a Vorcha class Klingon battle cruiser and 2 Klingon birds of prey will be de-cloaking."

Mike shook his head, 'damn intelligence officers' he thought. "Then we'll plan on walking down the Path to Kal'hyah tomorrow night."
