Mission: Mission 84 - Blockade
Location: SB400; Admiral's Office
Timeline: Following 'A New Diplomatic Officer '

Jewel woke up and got dressed and noticed David was already dressed and in the living area. When she finished she walked out and smiled, "Already ready I see." Jewel said to David with a smile. "Ready to go speak with the Admiral?" She asked with a smile.

Wiping a bead of sweat off of his forhead, he said, ''As ready as i will ever be my dear.''

She smiled and tapped her commbadge, "General Dartt to Sergeant Major Pepper can you meet me at the Admiral's Office there are somethings I would like to discuss with both of you." Jewel stated

"on my way" Pepper replied

After she got the reply both her and David headed out of there quarters and headed for the turbo lift. Once they entered she replied, "Ops," as the doors closed shut behind them. The lift began to move towards it's destination and soon later came to a stop and the doors open. "General on Deck," came a reply from a bridge officer. She couldn't help but smile, "At ease," Jewel replied and walked to the Admirals Office. Short time later Pepper arrived as well.

"Thanks for coming," Jewel stated to Pepper.

She then took a deep breathe then pressed the chime on the Admiral's door and waited for a response.

The door chime came as a relief to Bremer, he’d been knee deep in reports. Reports from SB400 while he was away, reports from ship Commanders along the blockade line, reports he was writing to Starfleet Command, etc, etc, etc.

“Enter.” Mike said aloud as he sat PADDs down on his desk.

Taking a deep breathe before entering, she walked in closely followed by the other two behind her. "Hoping I am not disturbing anything important Mike," Jewel said with a smile.

"Not at all, come in, please have seat." Mike said as he stood and motioned to chair.

She nodded as she took a seat, she could see that David was nervous she reassured him. "Mike I...well me and David have a request to ask both you and Pepper." Jewel said as she looked at Mike.

Pepper walked in and stood behind everyone else, it wasn't his first time the presence of so much brass but he still would of felt more comfortable not being here.

Bremer cocked his head to the side with a puzzled expression on his face, "Go ahead."

"Me and David want to get married here on Starbase 400 hopefully soon." She asked Mike.

Bremer smiled, "I think it's a great idea and would be good for the crew as well, something to celebrate after so much tension lately."

"But here is the thing, we want a traditional Klingon Wedding," She said to Mike then looked at Marcus. "Marcus, David would like to join our house." She said to Pepper. She could see that David was sweating and very nervous.

David, with sweat literally pouring down his face, siad, simply, ''Yes sir, that is correct.''.

Marcus raised an eye brow, he though he'd been dragged here for a rank reduction for fighting with the Krazzle or at least something marine related. Since this was House related he had to quickly shift his frame of mind. Asking for someone to join the house was a big deal and something that could just be agreed. This would have to be done properly for David to be brought in.

Mike smirked, he had experience with Klingon Weddings, "Mister Hurd, any ideas on who'd you like to take with you on your path to Kal'Hyah?

Wiping the sweat from his forehead, David replied, ''Sir, i was thinking of asking you.'' ''But other than that i do not know to be honest.''

Marcus stood silently in the background, he realized he wasn't here as the Sergeant Major, he was here as the house of Pir'up Pa representative. If he was going full Klingon this would be an insult, but his human side recalled that he was an enlisted man in a room full of senior officers. Now wasnt the time to show his disgust at the way he had been asked, but he smiled knowing what David would have to do to even get a look in at being adopted by his house.

She looked kinda nervous as she realized what she asked Pepper and she shouldn't have. 'great,' she said to herself as she looked at David then Mike.

"I'd be honored." Mike replied. "The Path to Kal'Hyah is mental and spiritual journey, filled with song and fellowship, and should be shared with one's closed male friends...so choose accordingly. If you'd like me to ask them for you, let me know who you'd want there and I'll let them know." Mike was actually looking forward to it, something other than paperwork, meetings, and the tension of the last few days.

Shooting a sideways glace at Jewel and Pepper, and wiping another bead of sweat off his face, he said, ''Sir, besides yourself, i would like to request Lennox, First Ramata'tar, and Duval.'' Pausing for a moment to clear his throat, he continued, ''Sir if you wouldnt mind, could you inform them?'' ''I just dont know how to ask them.''

Jewel smiled as things were coming together just nicely, "So, thinking maybe next week sometime?" Jewel asked Mike looking at him.

Mike paused, he could see Lennox and Duval having 'fun', but Ramata'tar...since he didn't eat, didn't sit, and didn't mind the heat...well this would be an interesting trip to say the least. "Of course, I think Sergeant Major Pepper should come as well since you will be joining his house." He paused, then asked, then are you planning to wed, or has the date even been set yet?"

"Was hoping for next week," she said as she handed him a padd with the date on it.

Mike looked at the PADD, "We'll see what we can do. I guess you two have your hands full."

She nodded as she stood and looked at him, "Oh and Mike let's just say your going to be an uncle again." Jewel said with a soft smile as she stood there.

Marcus once again kept his mouth shut, in human terms he was overjoyed for both of them but in Klingon terms he was furious. He needed to take this frustration out before he killed someone. He made a mental note to head right for the holodeck as soon as this was all over.

Mike smiled, he was happy for them, but at the same time, well, everything had it's proper time...not that hadn't be be there before too...

"Congratulations to you both. We'll ask Mister Widdy about using the Skyline Lounge for the ceremony and reception afterwards." Mike replied after a moment.

"Thank you Mike, but I think it's time to let you get back to work," she smiled as she turned and left followed by the others.
