Mission: Mission 84 - Blockade
Location: Lee and Alex's quarters
Timeline: Backpost

Lee had finally managed to make it to their quarters aboard the ship. It had been a very long day with the discover of the spy and bomb aboard. He stood there a couple feet in front of the door not moving from exhaustion.

Alex cocked her head slightly, "What's wrong? You look tired."

"This has been one of the longest days ever Imzadi." He blew out a breath.

Alex took him by the hand and sat him down in a chair. She stood behind him and began to rub his shoulders, "I wish I could say the same thing but to tell you the truth, I feel like my skills are being wasted."

Lee sat there for a moment enjoying it before speaking."I understand why you feel like you do since you haven't been doing a whole lot on this mission yet."

"I think this is the first time I've felt useless."

"Why don't you go down to security and help them out? Last I heard Lt. Baratan said something about how one of her security people escaped the brig easy, you could see what you could do to help?"

"I guess that would be better than moping around here. No disrespect to Yamaguchi but I miss the Pegasus. I'm used to that ship."

Lee nodded while listening to her:"Am sorry that you feel useless here on the Venator Imzadi."

"It's not your fault."

"So was the Pegasus your first ship?"

She shook her head, "No. Actually, the Essex was my first ship. I was a little nervous on my first day but T'Lar made it easy for me."

He nodded:"That's good to hear that T'Lar made it easy for you."

"She was a great mentor."

Lee stood up and stretched at bit:"So what's for supper dear?"

"Whatever you are cooking is fine with me." A little smile appeared on her lips.

He looked at her and with a gleam in his eye and a smirk he almost suggested gagh but thought better of it. Lee then turned and headed for the replicator.

Alex followed behind him.

"Mongolian stir fry" Lee said to the replicator, bringing out two big bowls of the food he then put the bowels on the table before going back for two cups of Vulcan tea. After setting the cups down he pulled out a chair. "Mi lady"

Alex sat down with a smile. This was just what the doctor ordered, is what she was thinking, "Great choice." She smiled at Lee with her "I need something from you look." In a sweet and innocent voice, "Honey, could you get me some chopsticks...please?" Stir fry just wasn't the same with out them.

Lee smiled at her and nodded:"Sure thing Imzadi" He went and came back with two sets of chop sticks handing one to Alex before sitting down himself.

"Thank you."

"You know Paul is taking quite a liking to Rachael."

"I know. I like her too. I think she is good for Paul. You agree?" She asked before taking a bite.

Lee nods:"Yes she does keep him out of trouble."

"Then I'm not going to worry about him." Alex decided.

After taking a bite, he looked over at her and smiled:"So are you ready to become Mrs.Pike?"

"Am I. I can't wait." She smiled as she continued to eat.
