Before ships depart

Commander Coleman had just left the bridge, heading down to Enginneering before he ran into Ensign Fawth, who was the Damange Control Officer. As they bumped into each other, Coleman asked, "Did you get the request for the Phaser safeties and the port side thruster? They're down and we need to make sure that we get them fixed before the ship heads out."

Fawth looked down at his PADD and said, "Yes sir, I have teams working on the phaser safties as of this moment and my teams are almost done with the thrusters, so that shouldn't be a problem."

Coleman nodded before saying, "Good, keep an eye on them. I don't want to be in the middle of a fight and we don't have functioning phasers or thrusters to get us out of the way."

Fawth nodded before heading back to the phaser control room. Coleman continued his way down to Engineering. When he got there, he assigned some more tasks of the repair and upkeep of the ship to his staff. Once he got word that the repair of the phaser safties and thrusters were completed, he sent message to Ensign Bremer that they were back online.

After the departure

Coleman started to hand out the assignment and team leader positions to his staff. Ensign Fawth led the Damange Control teams, Lieutenant Ral working on Communication Systems, Lieutenant Richardson on the Computer Systems, Lieutenant Commander Davis on the Matter/Energy Systems, Lieutenant Commander Douglas on the Propulsion Systems, and Lieutenant Andrews on the Structural/Environmental Systems.

Once the team assignments were sent out, they all went to work, making sure that the ship was well kept and that the ship wouldn't fall apart during a battle. Coleman was confident in his team and that his team could handle the pressure of keeping the ship running smoothly.
