Mission: Mission 80 - Outpost
Location: Pegasus, Bridge
Timeline: Three Hours after 'Moving Out'.

ON:

Mike was sitting in the CO’s chair of the USS Pegasus, NCC-1702-B. He leaned back as he watched the stars were streaking by on the main viewer.

“ETA Chief?” Mike asked.

Branson looked back toward the Admiral, “We’re still six hours from DS6. Our backup will drop out of formation there, then it’s another five hours to the Iconian System sir.”

Mike stood up from his seat and looked around. Eleven hours before even reaching the Iconian system. He wanted his people to be sharp when they arrived, “Beta shift, report to the Bridge.” He said over the comm.

“Listen up, when Beta shift arrives I want all of you to go to your quarters and rest. That doesn’t mean to go to Ten-Forward or to the gym to work out. Go rest, I need all of you at your best when we get to Iconia.”

About the same time Mike finished his little speech, the turbolift doors in the front and rear of the Bridge opened as the Beta Shift personnel arrived to take over. Mike watched Alpha Shift head for the turbo lifts, once the doors shut he sat back down in the Command Chair. He looked over all of the ship’s systems one more time, then stood up again.

“Lieutenant, you have the Bridge. Anything happens, let me know. I’ll be back before we get to DS6.” Mike said to the Senior Officer of Beta Shift.
