Mission:
Mission 78 - Colonial Uprising
Location: Science Lab 1
Timeline: Current
On:
Commander Coleman had been working to try and integrate the science team of the Essex into his science team. It had been taking some time, but slowly but surely, Coleman and the science teams were slowly getting into the swing of things.
Coleman had decided to hold a meeting of all the science teams before the mission got too underway. He tapped his combadge and said, "All science teams, report to science lab 1 in five minutes." After several minutes, he saw personnel wearing science/medical blue slowly pouring in.
After everyone arrived in the science lab, he opened up the floor by re-introducing himself. After the introduction, Coleman took a deep breath before continuing. "Ariel, Amy, how are each of the departments doing?"
Amy spoke up first. "The Stellar Cartography and Astrometrics departments are doing quite well. The Endeavor has just come back with data collected in the Beta Antares system. We've also found new sources of Dilithium for starfleet to mine."
Once Amy was done speaking, Ariel spoke up and said, "The Biology and Natural Sciences departments are doing quite well also. With the return of the Endeavor, we've gotten samples of various materials, including some Dilithium, to make sure that it's not tainted with any toxins or other materials."
Coleman gave a few little nods and once done hearing reports from the various heads of departments, he handed PADDs to everyone, giving them their new assignments. After everyone had a chance to look over and review their assignments, he dismissed everyone. He was happy to see that everyone was getting along. He was also glad to have extra personnel to staff some understaffed departments, such as Astrophysics and Biochemistry. When everyone got to work, Coleman let out a little smile because everything was running smoothly.
