Base raid.

Mission: Episode 110 - An Endeavor in Discovery
Xalanth was glad of his suits inbuilt environment as he and his team materialized in the pirate base. Unlike the clean stable federation environment this base stank of grease, human sweat, rust, and mold. It was unkempt and seemed to have been built in a hurry with main conduits strewn out along the floor.
Two pirates both who were busy trying to destroy one of these conduits didn't even have a chance to draw their weapons before they were doped.
" Alpha team is down heading to objective," Xalanth said as he lead his team to the main chamber most likely the main command structure. " Remember watch your fire we will have hostages around here." He quickly added.
Croesus walked another way and not too far in found an area with several additional transporter platforms. Venturing further he wandered what they might be up ahead.
Xalanth was glad for his armor's built-in environment. The base was filthy and he could almost see the stink in the air. His team had begun passing through storage areas filled with cages built for holding humanoids. None of them were currently occupied, but it showed how many people these animals were planning to go after. " Xalanth to all teams status?" He asked.
"Team two here." Miaxi's voice came over the comms. "We came down less than five meters from a patrol. They've been dealt with now, but we had to act quickly. They may be missed. We're heading to our objective now."
“Here is team three, we’re closing in on the power complex” Percy replied over the comm.
After a moment silence Percy continued “We’re now at the power complex. I can only a couple guards guarding this area. We need to take them out before we can go to work on shutting down the power complex.” Percy out.
Percy’s team split in half to neutralise the two guards. They managed to sneaked behind these guards and wrestle with them. They over powered them and knocked them out. A part of team secured the area. While Percy and two more engineers, went over to three of terminals and worked on bypassing the security locks. Once they successfully bypassed the locks on the panel they begun on shutting down the power complex. After several minutes they finally shut down the power complex. To prevent some one of powering it back up they decided to destroy the terminals and power couplings. Then they cleared the area. “Lt. Xalanth, we have disabled the power complex and prevented a reboot of the system. All terminals have been destroyed and a few power couplings.” Percy reported to the Lieutenant.
" Roger. Proceed to the primary control center we'll meet you there." Xalanth stated calmly as his team breached another chamber. Even with the filter, his suit had he could smell the sweat and fear that covered this hell hole. It was clear it was a processing center. Captured people shoved into cages like animals as bloody operating tables covered the room. The sound was overwhelming and the lizard could feel his blood boiling. One for the pirates still cutting into someones skull to install a control implant looked up with a look of fear suddly spreading over it's face as the lizard charged and smack him hard against the table. " Drop your weapons ever one of you." His suit speakers barked loud enough to be heard over the nightmares of the torture chamber. Many of the slavers refused drawing weapons only to be taken down with phasers and TR-116 rifle shots.
The whole fire fight lasted less than a minute, but it felt like hours for the lizard as he made sure each of his shots would land in a very painful area. " Get these people out of here and back to the ship's he barked to his second as his lead his primary team onward making sure to shoot open every cage lock as he went.

Miaxi was having less luck finding potential slaves, but definitely more finding slavers. There were men checking supply crates, putting together cages, and walking what seemed to be well-known patrol routes, based on the complacency she could sense coming from them.
She and her team stunned and tagged a dozen people between their insertion point and the primary control center. They could be beamed up at any time. She had half expected to find more, and was hoping there wasn't a large group waiting in the control center for them. She tapped her commbadge. =^= Etaalu here. We're at the primary control center. =^= she said, pulling back far enough that no one on the other side of the wall would be able to hear her.
Percy and his team arrived at rendezvou point after the arrival of lieutnant Etaalu. Thankfully they have not encountered any more troubles. then he tapped his combadge and quietly said =/\= We have arrived at the rendezvou point =/\=

" Good job everyone has anyone seen the admiral?" The lizard asked into his coms
"Afraid not Xalanth." Miaxi reported. "She could be in the control center. Do we wait for you?"
" Heading there now. Miaxi bring your team up from the other side." Xalanth said leading the way for his team.
"Copy that. I'll enter on your mark, Xalanth." Miaxi replied. She signalled her team to move into position, ready to lead them into the control room.
" Xalanth to team prepare to breach." The lizard said calmly as his team acted like one well-oiled machine. The door to the control room blasted open as his team breached met by a barrage of phaser/disrupter fire.
Miaxi took them in the back way a fraction of a second later, amid shouts and the sound of weapons fire. She looked around for the admiral they suspected of being in charge, but couldn't see her, and suddenly found herself ducking as a disrupter shot flew past her head. Get your head in the game she told herself as she fired back, and set about helping Xalanth and their two teams stun everyone in the room.
Xalanth fired a stun shot into the last of the pirates as he scanned the room. No sign of the admiral. " " Where could...." he began before his eyes fell on a loose panel. "Ancestors dam her escape hatch Miaxi with me." he said kicking it over and jumping down the small tunnel.
"Right behind you Xalanth." Miaxi said into the comm as she climbed in behind him, holstering her weapon. The last thing she wanted to do was shoot him accidentally. With the last of the pirates unconscious, she opened her empathic senses again, reaching out for any feelings that might be the admiral fleeing. With many fewer people in the area, it was easier to concentrate on blocking minds like Xalanth's out - as well as the rest of the security that were now behind them.
The lizard popped out of the chute into a small hangar bay with a small shuttlecraft being prepped for launch. Two pirates drew disrupters and fired one hitting Xalanth in the leg before the lizard brought them down. Letting out a hiss he flicked on the rifles transporter and scanned the small ship. Seeing his quarry he put two stun rounds into her back. " Got her." He hissed as he stood up. His armor had taken the brunt of the blast, but his leg still hurt like hell.
"You hurt?" Miaxi asked as she rolled out of the tube and cleared the hangar bay. She didn't want any surprises. She couldn't feel any presence beyond the stunned figures, but that didn't mean anything. Everything by the book for this operation.
" Yeah, but i'll live hurt it worse at the academy." The lizard said as he steadied himself and put weight on it before he started moving. Entering the shuttle he looked over at the quarry of all this her eyes staring blankly at him and Miaxi.
Something just felt wrong at her eyes stared at him. Only as the lizard approached did he notice why. " She's crying." He said out loud feeling rather confused.
Bridging up his scanner he began to move it over her and froze and what he was finding. " By the anchestors." He said as he sent the data to Miaxi. Almost every part of the admiral was linked to to some sort of implant all linking to one lodged deep in her brain. One that was broadcasting out.
" Someones has been controlling her." He said calmly though the anger in his voice was starting to show.
"By the gods." Miaxi breathed as she studied the data. She moved so that she could see the admiral, and focused on her. "She's terrified." she added. "We need to find who's been doing this, and get her to a doctor." she hunched down and took the woman's hand.
" How the hell did intel miss this." Xalanth said as he brought up the coms. The base was secure. Now they needed to start sorting out this mess. " It's going to be alright your safe now." He said reassuringly to the downed woman. " Everything is going to be all right."
"I don't know." Miaxi said. "But now we have another victim to protect." she looked up at Xalanth. "We have a lot of work to do, but you're right. Everything will be all right."
