Episode 109 - The Dust Settles
Location: SB400
Timeline: MD 02

Splendora sat in her quarters contemplating her upcoming trip to the First Federation. It was impossible to focus on the mission at hand though. Her mind was going back to her tasks on the station and what awaited her upon return. Getting her shop up and going was one of the hardest things she had to do not to mention starting the Bounty Hunting business.
She was tired, really tired. She wouldn't admit it to anyone but her mental exhaustion was catching up to her. She was hoping that seeing her colony, Hades' colony really, would energize her. Maybe meeting others like her that weren't related would help.
She sighed and leaned back her mind going back to her meeting with a fellow Betazoid, Lwazanda, a new job of sorts...
A Few Day Ago
Lwazanda felt a bit out of place still aboard the station. She also felt disconnected, as though the recent events had brought everyone together and she was so far removed from them now.
She had spent the time since her return to Starbase 400 keeping mostly to herself. But today, she wanted to reach out to some .... friends...she had made when she was last aboard.
She thought back to meeting Splendora Sage, a half Betazoid woman who had opened a Healing centre on the station. It felt like a lifetime ago.
Lwazanda moved through the promenade towards 'Mind, Body, Soul Healing' to see if she could find Splendora.
Splendora had wanted to go with Tom to Earth but she would have to stay a few days back and then head out. Right now she was righting her shop and then she'd go to her new business an look that over. There was so much work to be done. She looked up as the doors whooshed open.
"Thank the four deities I've found you!" Lwazanda exclaimed spotting Splendora. She half ran to the woman and hugged her. "MyMy this whole ordeal has given me quite the start." She pulled Splendora in tighter.
Splendora hugged her back. "It has been trying. Are you alright?"
"Well, admittedly, I missed all the excitement." Lwazanda was a bit embarrassed to admit this. "But I'm back now. Can I help you with anything?" She offered, looking around.
She smiled. "Yes...it has been a difficult time." She looked around. "This place is a mess.... I've opened a second business."
"A second business?" Lwazanda lit up. "Thats fantastic! Tell me all about it."
"I have entered a partnership to open a bounty hunting service. I'm setting up on the abandoned wing of the station." She was rather proud of herself. She'd been able to secure a location, ships, contracts, licenses. All was coming together although Tom didn't seem to thrilled.
"That sounds rather exciting" The elder Betazoid smiled. "Maybe I can hire you to track down my daughters. Neither seem to know how to return messages."
She straightened. "I would be honoured. Tell me about the situation." She motioned to the woman to follow her back to the office.
"Well, the last I'd heard of Khrysara, she'd left Starfleet and headed Freecloud. And Devinona, as far as I know is still in Starfleet, but I haven't heard from her in well over a year." Lwazanda sounded like a mother.
"Alright." Splendora sat down and then gave a nod. She pulled a PaDD and wrote some notes. "I will need pictures." She looked over at the recently repaired replicator. "Would you like something to drink?"
“Gin.” Lwazanda said plainly. “They should have pictures in their Personnel files, or if you need I should have some in my private files.”
She gave a nod and filed two glasses. "Alright." She sat down after giving Lwazanda her glass. "What was your last meeting or conversation with each like?"
Lwazanda sighed. “It has always been...tense with my daughters. Neither wanted to do what was expected of them. Ever the rebels. It fell to their brother, a man, to take the family place on the council. What a defeat.” Lwazanda was clearly emotional.
Splendora placed a hand on the woman's. "I know it's difficult but let me ask you. How is your son doing in the position?"
"Exceptional, for a man." Lwazanda clutched her necklace. "He reminds me of myself actually."
"Perhaps the Goddess of Betazed ordained it thus. Perhaps he was the right person?"
Present Day
Splendora shook her head dragging herself from her conversation with Lwazanda. She would help the woman, she knew that. She would do what it took to help her.
Sighing she stood and started packing. She would need to be at the ship soon. She hoped that Hades had made it since he'd left last evening. This was going to be an interesting journey and she had a feeling it would be one where everyone's loyalties would be tested.
