Mission 78 - Colonial Uprising

Timeline: Current - Day 2 (Stardate 54658.79)
An alarm woke l out of a deep sleep and she sat up in bed and rubbed her eyes. "What is it, Blaze?" She asked aloud.
=^=We are nearing Draken, Captain. ETA 21 minutes and 15 seconds.=^=
"Ok. Thanks," Melody said through a yawn. She looked at the time display on the wall at the head of her bed and moaned seeing that she had actually only been asleep for a couple of hours. She got up and went to the food replicator in the "lounge" area of the Blaze. "Hot coffee...black with sugar," she said and when a mug of steaming hot coffee appeared on the Replicator pad, she removed it and headed for the cockpit, stopping at Tanner's quarters to wake her up. Since there were no doors to the sleeping quarters she poked her head through the doorway and called out, "up and at 'em, Tanner." When she heard Tanner stirring she continued on to the cockpit.
"Ok," Melody said aloud as she took her seat in the pilot's chair. She took a sip of her coffee and set the cup in a cup holder built into the arm of her chair. She reached out and took hold of the Blaze's control stick. "Blaze? Bring us out of Warp and turn off the auto-pilot," she said and prepared to take control of her ship.
Tanner appeared in the cockpit with a mug of coffee in her hand and fell into a chair. Considering they were nearing their destination, she figured it might be helpful to have a little more information. "So what is it that we're doing while we're here?"
Melody was studying a holographic star chart that was hovering above the control console. She pointed to a spot on the chart and asked, "Blaze? What is that?"
=^=That is Semtro...one of Draken's moons.=^=
"Do you have any information on it?" Melody asked and a few seconds later another hologram display replaced the star chart. Melody read over the information then said," "in answer to your question," she looked over at Tanner as she manually closed out the holographic display and brought up the holographic atlas for Draken, as well as the star chart from earlier, "I will be beaming down to the planet and you are to take the Blaze behind this moon...," she pointed to Semtro on the star chart, "...and find a place to land where you won't be detected by sight and wait for me to contact you. The amount of Gratonium in the moon's soil will prevent most planetary scanning devices from detecting you but in the off chance that you might be discovered, do not...under any circumstances...allow the Blaze to be impounded. If it means leaving the area until the heat dies down...then do it. I'll wing it until you are back in communication's range," she instructed as she studied the holographic atlas then she manually turned off the displays and prepared to go in closer to the planet.
While some people might throw up their hands at hearing a plan that sounded more like a children's game than a strategy, Tanner simply nodded. Though it sounded like elaborate hide-and-go-seek, people who wanted it to sound more important called it escape-and-evade. Regardless of the title, the objective remained: don't get caught.
So maybe she'd feel better if she knew what exactly Melody would be doing while she and Blaze were hiding... But then, if anything did happen, it'd be easier to convince people she wasn't doing anything, if she truly wasn't.
