Mission: Mission 78 - Colonial Uprising
Timeline: After the Senior Staff meeting

Lee was walking away from the meeting when he stopped Alex. "Hey Alex wait up"

Alex stopped and turned around.

Lee walked up to her:"So looks like we got another mission and this time will be working a bit together."

"Yeah, I heard. This is a first." She smiled.

Lee smiled:"Want to join me for dinner?"

"Sure. Paul is spending time with a girl he met so I just so happen to be free."

Lee nodded:"That's good to hear Paul is making friends already. Would like to meet him someday."

"I think you two would get along great. After this mission, I'll arrange a lunch so you can meet him."

Lee nodded:"I look forward to meeting him."

Lee held out his arm:"So where would you like to go to dinner at?"

She took hold of his arm, "I don't have a preference. Surprise me.' She smiled.

Lee smiled as they walked arm in arm:"So how bout an Earth style resturant?"

"That sounds good. Something I haven't done for a while now."

"So what do you think of our newest mission?"

"When I hear Bremer say, I want us to be protected and ready, that makes a me a little nervous. Hopefully, nothing will happen. But at least we get to work together."

Lee smiled:"Yea it's good we will be working together. I also hope nothing will happen."

"If it does, I'll be ready" she assured him.

Lee half turned to her as they reached the resturant:"And after this mission from what hear we will both be in different departments."

"I'm changing but I didn't know you were too. What will you be doing instead?" She was a bit surprised.

Lee stopped and turned to look at her:"Yeah am leaving the Marines to become Second Officer and Chief Intelligence Officer."

"Second Officer? Wow. Well then, congratulations."

Lee looked at Alex then leaned into her and gave her a kiss on the lips:"Shall we go in?"

She paused for a second, 'Um, yeah." She gazed at him for a few seconds then smiled, "Let's."

Lee smiled as they walked into the resturant:"Thanks, yep am moving up."

Alex let out a small laugh.

He held out the chair for her at their table then whispered to her:"So what are you thinking about?"

She sat down and waited for him to do the same, "You." She moved the silverware over, "Me." She then looked back at him.

He took a sip of water then looked at her:"What about you and I?"

"I was just thinking how much I really like talking to you and spending time with you. I haven't made many friends on this starbase. It's been a bit lonely."

Lee smiled at her:"I like talking to you and spending time with you too. I think you're a very attractive woman."

She blushed a little, "You do? Well thank you."

He laid his hand palm up on the table:"Would you like to starting dating?"

"It's been a long time since I've actually gone on one. I'd be crazy to say no." She put her hand in his, " I'd love to."

He smiled while they held hands:"Yes do think you are attractive and your welcome." He looked at her:"So what sounds good to eat?"

"Hmm, I don't know." She chuckled, " I guess it would help if I looked at the menu." She reluctantly let his hand go.

He chuckled a little himself:"Yea it might be helpful looking at the menu."
