Timeline: MD01

~ 1600 hrs ~

Varena Uzrin was a name well known in the field of antiquities, she was a hunter of the rarest of things and also an old friend, lover and rival of Rae Vox. Standing outside his gallery in her tight fitting leather outfit she lowered the zip on her top revealing plenty of cleavage for Rae to see. Walking into the gallery she smiled as she walked up behind him letting her hands do a little wondering as she did so. "Hello Rae, long time no see."

"Well well well look who it is. Varena, it's been a while hasn't it. Still good at 'assett' management I see." He said eyeing up her ample bosom.

"But of course!" Varena smiled as she made sure Vox had a very good eyeful of what he'd enjoyed before. "I heard you'd set up shop aboard this Starbase, so I thought I'd come and take a look what you had to err...offer!" She walked around looking at some of the artwork the gallery had to offer before leaning against the edge of his desk in a very provocative manner.

" Well I can see what you're trying offer. I haven't forgotten why we split up Varena. You double crossed me and it cost me big time. So cut back on the flirting and tell me why you are here? " He said. His arms folded.

“Well...” She grinned. “I have a map in my Quarters that I thought you might find interesting. It leads to some interesting and extremely sought after artefacts!” She grinned as she crossed and uncrossed her legs teasingly.

"Hmmm. OK. You have my attention. Shall we say 7pm at your quarters for drinks and map reading? " He smiled.

“Are you sure you can wait that long to see what I have for you?” She stood and walked across to Vox. Her hands slid around his neck as she looked into his eyes. “You never have been able to resist me Rae...” Her lips met his in a gentle yet passionate kiss.

Pulling back from the kiss. He looked into her dark blue eyes. "Sadly I run a shop so it will have to be 7pm. Question is, can you wait for me?" he replied, planting a firm passionate kiss on her lips.

She responded to his kiss driving it further before whispering in his ear. "No... I can't!" She ran her hands through his hair as she took the kiss to new heights of passion. "I'm sure I saw a storeroom out back..."

"Indeed you did he replied between kisses. He pulled her around the counter and through the doors of the store room, slamming the door behind them.

" I knew you couldn't wait! " She smiled as she quickly helped him out of his clothes smothering his neck and chest in kisses. "it's...been too...long Rae!" She backed them towards a desk used for unpacking goods.

"Too...long...indeed." he replied pulling the zip of her leather top down causing her bussom to burst out of its leathery confines. "I've been here months, what kept you?" He asked.

“Let’s just say...I wanted to surprise you!” She sat on the desk pulling him to her. She was going to enjoy what brief time they might have right now.

"Oh really he said.

~ A little while later ~

Varena smiled as she squeezed herself back into the skin-tight leather outfit whilst watching Vox dress. “You’re still as good as I remember Rae” She moved across to him and gave him a long, passionate kiss. “If you enjoyed that just wait until tonight!” She grinned.

"Likewise Varena. So hot I'm surprised your leather doesn't melt. As for tonight, we shall see about that. " He replied finishing getting dressed.

“I’m sure we will” She ran her fingers along his neck and gave him another kiss. “I think you’ll like what I have to show you, it’s something you’ve been looking for, for a very long time.”

Not being totally sure what she was talking about, he had a thought for a moment of the things he was still looking for. "There are a fair number of things I am looking for and have for some time. Care to narrow it down or shall I wait for later?" he asked.

"Let's just say it's something you once referred to as the holy grail of discoveries!" She grinned and turned to leave. "Let's just say I've found some important clues to where it might be!"

"Hang on a minute. You're not suggesting that you have actual clues to the location of the Chalice of Taroonah? Legend says it was a test piece by an unknown artist. The chalice is carved out of a single large piece of a precious stone called a Taroo. It's just a legend. " Vox replied.

"Perhaps, perhaps not!" Varena grinned. "Drop by tonight and you can see for yourself."

"You bet I will. If its real and not a legend, it will be priceless. " Vox replied.

"If you think it's real then we can go and search for it." She smiled. "It's been a long time since we last went on an adventure together."

"It most certainly has. I will have to look at what you have first. If it is real then this is certainly the holy grail of art. " Vox replied with a big smile.

"Then I'll see you tonight!" Varena smiled as she leant in for one last kiss before turning and heading on her way.
