The Mess Hall......
Dustin walked in holding Aubrey's hand. It was one of the few places on the ship you could go. Even though it was larger than a defiant, it still felt very cramp. They agreed to have dinner together. "I am glad the mission was very text book." Dustin said. He knew the ship was setting course back to Starbase 400.
“So am I,” Aubrey said with a smile. “Even though I am sure she didn’t like it, Sarah’s double checking that we were silent was a good call. One small detection and it could have gone bad.”
"Good news is, we are heading back to the station, and the ship is ready secure and we can have some time, to think about us." Dustin suggested with a big grin on his face.
“I like that idea,” Aubrey murmured. “Will we know what to do with ourselves though?” She asked with a cheeky grin.
"I hoping for a stroll on the beaches of Risa, I have some holodeck time reserved." Dustin said with a big grin.
“Yes!” Aubrey’s face lit up. “That sounds like my kind of fun!”
"Time is wasting." Dustin said, as he grabbed her hand, and raced out to the turbolift to start up the program. As they walked in, he looked over to Aubrey. He was not sure, if she had been here before.
“This is a first for me,” Aubrey smiled at him. “But it’s on my bucket list. I am excited to go and spend time with you there.”
"Really, wow." Dustin said, as he held her hand, as they walked into the warm breeze air. "We should have probably changed over, before coming into the holodeck." Dustin called out, as he felt the warm breeze him gently.
“I didn’t want to take the time,” Aubrey said with a sigh. “The air feels good to me. We needed the break but maybe we can find something to wear here.”
"There is a market place, not far away." Dustin said, as they started to walk to the promenade area.
“Oh good!” Aubrey smiled. “We should be able to find something and then you can show me Risa!” She realized in that moment she had not truly relaxed since the attack, she doubted any of them had. It felt good to be here and have some time to just be away from it all.
"Let's go in here." Dustin said, as several Risian ladies walked out, in skimpy bikini's. He was certain, they would find something to wear.
Aubrey smiled. “Oh you will love this store, I am sure.” She started looking at the bathing suits and picked one out she was sure he would like. “What do you think“ Her eyes twinkled. “Is this bikini to your liking?”
"Might be easier to imagine, if you were wearing it." Dustin suggested, with a twisted grin on his face. He grabbed a pair of shorts, and headed towards the holodeck changing room. The program had replicated them swimming attire.
Aubrey went and changed as well. She liked the bikini, it was quite flattering. She hoped Dustin liked it. Walking out, she looked around for him. “Dustin.” She called his name.
"You look incredible." Dustin said, with a big lustful look on his face. Wow, she was very attractive. In that swimsuit, she was intoxicating to look at.
“Like it, huh?” Aubrey smiled. She loved the way he was looking at her. She checked him out as well. “You are looking very handsome.” She said with a smile.
"Shall we?" Dustin asked, as he reached out his hand, for her to take. He had a big grin on his face, he was ready to stroll the beaches of Risa with her. He had been looking forward to spending some alone time with her.
“Yes,” Aubrey’s eyes filled with excitement. Time alone with just the two of them was what she needed. “When was the last time you were here?” She asked him, curious.
"On the hollodeck or on Risa?" Dustin asked with a big grin. They walked onto the beach and saw several holographic beach goers wearing swimwear. Some were resting on lounge chairs.
“I will go with on Risa,” Aubrey replied with interest. “This makes me want to go there someday when on break.”
"I'd be happy to take you." Dustin said, as they strolled on the beach. Feeling the two warm suns on their face.
“I look forward to that day,” She stopped and turned, looking in Dustin’s eyes. “I know we have all felt the losses but I just want you to know that a part of what kept me going was loving you and knowing you feel the same.”
"Me too." Dustin said, as they started to walk down the beach. "Have you heard any updates on the station?" Dustin asked. He knew by tomorrow, they would be home.
“Nothing,” Aubrey confessed. “I think they don’t want to send out information, you never know who may try to intercept.”
"We are still traveling under cloak, and you are right. But still can help it, but wonder." Dustin said, as he reached out to hold her hand.
Aubrey took his bad and nodded. “We still don’t know the condition of some of the people. And getting on line is a concern for all of us .”
"What ever is waiting for us back home, will face it together." Dustin said, as the scene starts to fade.
