Having seen Kaden off, Freya was feeling at a loss with what to do with herself. She hadn't seen much of Vox since their return from the treasure hunt so she headed for his gallery.

Vox, who had just finished a light snack was pottering about at the back of the gallery trying to find a place for a new sculpture.

Arriving at the gallery a little while later Freya walked inside and looked around for Vox. She smiled as she found him. "Hi Rae, do you mind if I visit for a little while?"

"Well well its the goddess Venus, Hello Freya." he said with a smirk on his face. "Not at all" he added.

"Thanks" She offered a somewhat lukewarm smile. "I'm sorry I'm not the most brilliant company at the moment, Kaden is shipping out with the fleet and I'm lost without him."

" I can imagine. How's your pregnancy going?" Vox asked.

"Fine" She smiled as she ran her hand over the small bump that was starting to show. "Three months and so far everything is going along smoothly." Talking about the baby always made her smile.

"Good. When Azrel was having her daughter, her bump was a bit bigger at three months but that might be something about Trill pregnancies. " He commented.

"Could be" Freya nodded. "Betazoid pregnancies are generally ten months but Humans are nine so it's somewhat guesswork when the birth will come. It's just a case of seeing how it goes."

"Trill pregnancies are 9 months like Human pregnancies. Talking about it brings back memories. " he said smiling.

"Tell me about it" Freya smiled. "Helps take my mind off of Kaden being gone. Plus I'd like to know what to expect, both the good and the bad."

"Sure, why not. Azrel's partner was also an artist. His name was Joren. He wasn't a joined Trill, didn't have an interest in being joined. Now what tell you may not be relevant to you as this is Trill physiology. Now if my memory is correct, in humans, you get a line on your belly called the Linea Nigra. That also happens for Trill's but it's not a line but a strip of Trill markings but instead of their normal brown colour, these are red. It's the same reason they are there, fluctuating hormones."

He said. He picked up his tea and took a sip.

"Yeah the hormones..." Freya smiled. "Mine are messing with my emotions, I'm all over the place!" She sighed. "I can cry at the drop of a hat!"

"Oh absolutely. I know what that's like." Vox replied.

"You have no idea how good it is to hear you say that!" Freya smiled. "I was starting to think my mood swings were more of a problem. I do have one thing that Trills don't, I can feel and communicate with my baby."

"That's true. We can't do that." Vox replied.

"So how goes business?" She looked around. "Considering everything that happened I enjoyed our treasure hunt. And we all have our souvenir tattoo from it, though why I've yet to figure out."

"Business is good so far and as for the tattoo, I am not the wiser as well. My main puzzle though is the mystery person." Vox replied.

Freya nodded. "Any ideas who it could be?"

"Not a clue." Vox said scratching his head.

"That was all very strange." She sighed. "What do you plan to do with your share of our reward?"

"Well, my ship could do with some work and upgrades so there is that to begin with." Vox replied.

"Sounds good" Freya nodded. "I wasn't going to keep my share but now I've decided to keep it for the baby. A future inheritance that doesn't rely on my family, I prefer to be independent."

"Great idea. The list of upgrades is longer than my arm so its not easy knowing where to start." Vox smiled.

"Well if you want a hand, you know where to find me!" She grinned. "I'm not an engineer but I know my way around systems. Besides I consider you a friend and so does Kaden."

"That means a lot, thanks. The feeling is mutual. I will get back to on your offer once I've got the parts for the first job. Upgrading my warp engines. I'd like to get her top speed up from warp 5 to 7. " Vox advised.

"Sounds good" Freya smiled "and thank you for helping to cheer me up! I always used to worry about Kaden, now I'm pregnant I'm worse!" She shrugged her shoulders. "I always wanted a baby because if anything happened to Kaden, I'd have some part of him left. I feel silly being such a worrier!"

"Well I am always around if you need someone to talk to while he is away. I have the added advantage of knowing more about pregnancy and birth than most men, as I have the memories and experiences of going through it three times. " Vox replied.

"I have no doubt I'll have plenty of questions as this pregnancy progresses, so thank you for that." Freya smiled warmly. "Do you mind if I hang around for a little while? I'm quite willing to help you with anything that needs doing."

"Sure, why not. I could do with the company." he smiled.

"Thank you Rae, I appreciate it." Freya smiled warmly. "So where do I start?"

"I have some pictures to hang up so that would be great." Vox added.

Freya grinned. "Just tell me what and where."
