Mission: Episode 101 - Peace During War
Location: Sickbay
Timeline: MD04 0945 hrs

With the few days wait over Freya had brought Kaden to Sickbay with her to find out the results of the tests run by Doctor Hades. She was extremely stressed and nervous, knowing the results would determine whether Kaden would happily stay with her or not. Walking into Sickbay she looked around for Hades.

Kaden followed behind not really wishing to be there as he knew there was nothing coming from this visit it seemed. He just plopped in a empty seat hanging his head knowing this was a waste of time quietly stewing in his thoughts.

"Hey" Freya smiled. "Let's try and be positive huh? It could be good news!"

Kaden didn't say anything or move a muscle there was nothing to try to be positive for he had lost all hope. Their kid was going to suffer like did and he couldn't endure it he wasn't strong enough. Why did the Reman attack scare him into breaking down to even have a kid? Even Kaden himself couldn't understand why he did it strangely it just happened.

Tried as he might he wanted to not think of the child having his rapid muscle growth condition and just focus on the good things. But everyone Kaden came across always brought up the fact it may happen and it finally just took it's toll on him. Wearing down his will to not think of it to him now regretting his choice he hated himself for it.

Freya sighed she wasn't feeling 100% as it was. "Doctor Hades" She offered a tired and stressed smile as she greeted Hades. "We're here for the test results."

Hades gave a nod. "Perfect timing. I just finished reviewing the results. If you will come with me we'll head to my office and talk about the results." He motioned for them to follow him.

Kaden sat up following Hades to his office he was still quiet stewing in his thoughts of low expectations and regrets. What was the point of all this anyway, just rub salt in the wound? He wanted to just leave instead go be miserable alone away from everyone.

Freya could sense Kaden’s apprehension and it wasn’t making this moment any easier. She felt stressed and drained of all her energy with all the worry about the baby and Kaden. Walking into Hades office she took a seat before looking at Hades. “Please tell me it’s good news!”

Hades smiled. "It is great news. I have checked, triple checked, and there is a 99.3 percent chance that the baby will be okay. I don't think he or she will have any of what you have."

Freya sat with her mouth open, before looking at Kaden. The tears in her eyes said exactly what relief she was feeling. It had been extremely stressful waiting on the results that would determine the fate of her relationship with Kaden.

Kaden perked up his eyes looking at Hades then Freya. Did hear that correctly? The baby was not going to have his rapid muscle growth condition?

Freya laughed as she hugged Kaden, looking to Hades. "Thank you Hades!! You have no idea what this..." She paused. All the stress she'd been through combined with the sudden relief she now had, plus the fact she was still recovering from being stabbed by Andy, her body had given all it had to give. She suddenly went limp in Kaden's arms as she totally lost consciousness.

Kaden gently shook Freya. "Freya, sweetheart?" He turned to Hades. "Doc, what is wrong with her?"

Hades was on his feet with a tricorder. "Let's get her to a bio bed. Now!"

Concerned about his Freya Kaden certainly wasted no time carrying her in his arms over to the closest empty biobed.

Freya stirred slightly as Kaden put her down but didn't wake up.

Kaden stroked Freya's lovely black hair holding her hand. "Freya, come on wake up please? You are scaring me right now!"

Freya slowly stirred, her hand gripping Kaden’s other hand. She eventually opened her eyes and looked up at Kaden. “Hey...sorry!”

Kaden ran his hand thru her lovely black hair. "Ahhh, it's okay." He offered her a smile.

She wearily looked towards Hades as she raised her hand to her head. “I’ve got one hell...of a splitting headache.”

Hades had run the tricorder over her. "Sudden blood pressure drop, I don't like the cardiac readings I'm getting. All this points to extreme stress which is not good for you nor the baby." He said to Freya. He turned and picked up a hypo hissing out its contents to her. "Alright, take a moment and breath deeply." He continued to monitor the tricorder readings.

Freya did as she was asked relaxing herself and breathing deeply. She offered Kaden a smile to reassure him. I hope this is sorted soon we’ve got General Hurd’s wedding to attend, he’s been good to me and I don’t want to miss it.”

"Hey, Doc, can I get a copy of those results? I want to frame it." Kaden asked curiously.

Freya gave Kaden a 'be patient' look before turning to Hades and awaiting the results of his scans.
