Vox had sent a message to Camron to visit him aboard the Tenaran so they could go over the specifications for his own ship's AI. Whilst waiting, Vox decided to conduct a few diagnostics on some systems that seemed to be operating below normal efficiency.

Cameron quickly finished what he was working on and after cleaning himself up he headed for the Tenaran to see what Vox had come up with or if it was even possible.

"Permission to come omboard." Asked Cameron as he arrived at the airlock leading to the Tenaran

"Come on in." Vox replied.

"What have you got for me Vox. Unless you just wanted to shoot the breeze." Said Cameron as he arrived on the small bridge of the ship

"Tenaran has crunched the numbers and has formulated an AI for your ship but you will need some upgrades. " Vox replied passing Cameron a padd.

"Wow you were not joking the way I read this it looks like I will need almost a complete new computer system amoung other things." Said Cameron as he studied the PADD. "hmm I wander." added cameron more to himself then anything else.

"I pretty much did the same thing with Tenaran when I acquired the ship. It needed a lot of work to get it space worthy again. " Vox added.

"Well at least in that I am ahead of the game as it were the Dakota is space worthy and warp capable Let me see if I read this right. I would need a new computer system, new EPS conduits and relays, holo emmitters throughout the ship, to power this all I will need a new impulse engine. You sure I do not need a new SI field generator, sensor and shields while I am at it." Said cameron with a chuckle


"Technically you don't but there's now harm in going all out with the upgrades is there." Vox smiled.

"No I guess not and when it is really the only thing I spend money on well going all out might not be a bad idea." Said Cameron lightly. "Now all joking asside what would I really need to make an AI work on my ship."

"Well once you have the updates done, we can install the AI that Tenaran has put together and see how it goes. It's a slow upload process so patience is key." Vox replied.

"Well this kind of upgrade will take a while at least 6 months to a year maybe less if I can get my connections to help out." Said Cameron still slightly shocked at everything that would need to be done

"Well, we could focus on the upgrades that are vital and then see how it loads." Vox replied

"That sounds better what would we need to focus on then." Asked Cameron calmly though he felt anything but calm

"Just the computer core upgrade and ensuring it has sufficient resources to run the AI. The holo-emitters are not essential unless you want to activate the AIH. That's the Artificial Intelligence Hologram. Tenaran does not have that feature active at the moment as the holo-emitters on the ship need repairs. We can disable that for now and just get the basics running." Vox replied.

"Ok that sounds alot more manageable I will see if I can get in touch with a couple people I know and see about getting a computer system. how much newer are we talking about. Something along the lines of a miranda III refit or are we talking something like an intrepid with its biogel pacs." Asked Cameron he knew it would be easier to get the miranda computer then an intrepid but he also knew he wanted the best for his ship.

"Try it with a Miranda III to start with." Vox replied

"Alright let me put in a couple of calls and see if I can get one headed our way I have some friends that might be able to get it cheaper then either of us could on our own." Said Cameron calmly

"Sounds good. " Vox replied.

"Alright as soon as I know anything I will be in touch and we can go from there." Said Cameron as he headed for the door he had some calls to make.
