Mission: Episode 95 - Helping Old Friends
Location: Pike's Quarters/OPS
Timeline: MD10, 1205 hrs

Lee was in Ops, he was the current officer in charge. He had already sent several officers over to make sure that the Luna would be ready at any given moment if need be.

Alex was very busy with the twins these days. If she wasn't working, she was dealing with two toddlers who were now into everything. These were the days that she wished Paul was there to help her with the twins. Both Bremer and T'Lar were on a mission in the Delta Quadrant and had just gotten back. Not too soon as Lee and James were sharing in the operations of the base which kept Lee busy. She couldn't be more happy.

Lee was standing there looking over something, he then send a message to Alex via telepathy "Twins are giving you a run for your money today huh?"

Alex smiled, "More than you know." She sat down on the couch and watched the twins play. Alex laughed when they collided with each other fell down on their rear ends. Instead of crying, they just got back up and continued to run around the room.

Lee almost chuckled "They will keep you young Imzadi." He felt them collide then sent then both reassuring thoughts, then turned back to his wife. "I take it the twins are ok?"

She chuckled, "They're fine. Getting off soon?"

"I figured that they would be, I was just checking." Lee sighed "Not for a few hours, with what has been going on lately."

Alex sighed, "Okay, let me know when you are on the way." One of the twins grabbed her leg. The other one followed suit.

Lee chuckled "I think someone wants your attention."

"You know how it is, they copy each other all the time. I wouldn't be surprised if they finish each others sentences and thoughts when they get older. It will be interesting to say the least."

"Oh I won't doubt that they will, they are going to have a very strong connection to each other." Lee paused a moment "Don't worry, they will also have one with their Mother."

"I'm not worried about my relationship with the kids. There's nothing that could ruin that." She changed the subject, "Now that Bremer and T'Lar is back, maybe we can do something as a family."

Lee blew out a breath "I wasn't meaning anything bad when said that about the twins relationship with you." He paused to check something for a second "Sure I would like that, what do you have in mind Imzadi?"

"Not sure. the idea just popped into my head." She chuckled, "I'll think about it and we can discuss it when you get home."

"Very well Imzadi, sounds good to me." He looked around "Hopefully I should be home soon."

"I hope so. See you soon."

"See you soon Imzadi."

Alex looked at the two little ones, "Now to fix something for lunch.
