[ON]

Hades used his break to check on Shrivol. He had called and Shrivol told him that all was well but something wasn't right. Black bag in hand he stood outside the CMO's quarters and rang the chime.

Shrivol dragged himself from the couch, only wearing shorts and sweating profusely. He stood up then fell back down. "Come...in...." was all he said as he drifted in between consciousness and unconsciousness.

Hades entered the smile on his face fading. He rushed to Shrivol's side. "Fvadt! I told you to call me." He pulled the tricorder out of his bag and started scanning. He should have never mind melded with Shrivol. Of all the irresponsible things to do.

"I...could...have." Shrivol said with a smirk "But I don't take orders from you." Shrivol tried to sit up on the couch. "And now you didn't initiate the mind meld I did...I already know you are blaming yourself as always."

"Shush!" He pulled a hypo and pressed it to Shrivol's neck. He scanned again. "Take a few deep breaths, this should help with dizziness and headache." Stupid Hades! Why did he do the meld. Shrivol's vibrant blue was not a paler colour.

"I'm part Aenar." Steadied himself "I have had mind melds before but nothing like this. It wasn't your fault."

"Yes it was." Hades helped him sit up and then went to the replicator to get water. He came back and held the glass to Shrivol's lips while holding the back of his head gently. He went into his doctor mode. "Sip slowly"

"Yes, Doctor." Shrivol said smiling before taking a sip. "With your logic how was this your fault?"

"Because .... it just is. This is no time for logic. How do you feel? Has the hypo kicked in?"

Shrivol grabbed Hades left hand "This wasn't you. I forced it and I am sorry." Shrivol said tenderly. "I just never felt this way before."

Hades smiled. He squeezed Shrivol's hand. He was going to blame himself for this but after he left. "Are you feeling better?"

"Okay. Thanks." Shrivol looked deeply at Hades. "But you wasted your break."

Hades smiled. "No I didn't. Time with you is never a waste. I should go though. Promise you'll call if you feel bad."

"Of course I will." Shrivol said, almost sounding like someone different, he was feeling better, but how could he not with Hades being there. "Thank you, I think I will just..." Shrivol chuckled. "A sedative, great call...doctor." he said as he felt extremely drowsy.

Hades smiled. He helped Shrivol lay down, laid the blanket over him and placed a kiss on his forehead. "Rest. Doctor's order."

Shrivols antenna responded at the kiss. Shrivol started snoring and mumbling in his sleep. Things that were not at all attractive. He felt safe, after all he let Hades treat him without too much opposition.

Hades smiled waited to make sure Shrivol was okay and then headed back to the office.
