After leaving the General, he decided to formally decided to introduce Axe to him, Walking up yo his his his office, he rang the chime and waited.

Mike was still in his Office reading over various reports from the Klingons, from the Free Romulans, from Starfleet Command, and from his own Officers. Needless to say, it was a busy morning, but when the chime rang Mike almost welcomed the distraction.

"Enter" he said.

Hurd walked in, Axe on a leash. As soon the doors closed, Axe sat down on his hind end, tongue out, looking at Bremer. ''Sir'', Hurd said, '' I just thought I would introduce you to Axe, Axe'', he said looking at the dog, this is Fleet Admiral Bremer."

Mike smirked and stood, "He's a fine animal David. Seems very tame."

''Tame until he senses a threat that is.'' David chuckled.

Mike nodded. "How long have you had him?"

Now, a little over 72 hours sir.

Mike nodded. "Where did he come from?"

''Near Berlin, Germany on Earth''. ''His Bloodlines go back nearly 450 years''.

Mike smirked, his Human side was half German and 'Bremer' was a German surname. "Then he has good bloodline. Take good care of him, he'll be a loyal companion."
