Location: Starbase 400, Sickbay
Timeline: MD3 1645hrs, Following 'The Seaking the Truth'

Jewel had gotten dressed and was about to get ready to be discharged from Sick Bay. Her son was healthy and Jewel was healing nicely. Now she just waiting for the doctor to release her. Just then the doors opened and she seen Mike walk in. "About time you got here Mike," she said with a smile as she picked up her newborn son.

Mike's head was spinning. It had been a very busy day, but it wasn't over yet. He entered and shook David's hand before walked over beside Janice.

"Congratulations to you both. How are you feeling?" Mike asked Jewel.

"Feeling pretty good," Jewel replied with a smile then handed Mike his new nephew.

"Do you feel well enough to be at the Staff dinner tonight? The USS Warrior is due in any time now, and I'm going to invite Worf and his Staff, and I also have some special announcements to make there." Mike replied.

She raised an eyebrow, "Yes Mike, I'll be there." She said as she got curious on what that could be.

Mike nodded, then reached out to hold the baby for a moment. He remembered K'Wor, Becca, and Christopher being that small. Sometimes, he even missed it, but he was happy not to have to change diapers anymore too.

"Good. Dinner is informal, no dress uniforms." Mike finally replied.

She smiled as Mike held him, he opened his little eyes and seemed to look right at him which caused Jewel to smile. "Sounds good," she replied.

"For now, go get some rest." Mike handed the baby back to Jewel so she could go rest in their quarters.
