Lee had received the message that Admiral Bremer wanted him in Ops. Lee walked into Ops dressed in the Marine green sporting the rank of Colonel.

Lee saluted "You wanted to see me sir?"

Mike nodded, "At ease. This just came in from Starfleet Command. I want you to take the Laffey, rendezvous with the Endeavor, Vanguard, and Saratoga. After you and Commander Winter `swap` vessels, you'll be in command of the Task Group."

"Before you accept, I want you to read over the mission profile." Mike handed him a PADD that explained the mission in more detail. Going to the Talos Star Group to recover Commodore Pike's body and return him to Earth for a proper burial.

Lee took the padd and read over it, finally the Pike family would be able to bury Chris Pike after all these years.

"So why after all of these years have the Talosians contacted Starfleet and will allow us to get the remains of Commodore Pike?"

Mike shook his head, "They do not know...but they are also still unsure as to why they allowed the Commodore to return to their planet after he was injured." The Admiral paused.

"That's why I'm sending four ships, just in case they want to start up their Humanoid zoo again the Commodore reported in his log after first contact. Send a minimal away team and be careful." Mike then changed his tone from `Admiral` to `Friend`. You're related to the late Commodore, correct?

Lee nodded, "Yeah we don't want the Talosians doing their humanoid zoo again. Yes Admiral I am a direct descendant of Commodore Chris Pike."

Mike nodded, "I thought so, and that's why Starfleet Command asked us to bring him home, and why I'm sending you.

Lee sighed a little, "I know that when I bring the remains back of Commodore Pike that a lot of my family will be happy that he will finally get the burial he deserves."

"I'm sure they will, even after all these years." Mike's tone became more serious again, "Make contact with the Commader Winter, Captain Weatherlight, and Commander Coleman, pick a rendezvous point. After the Pegasus wraps up it's business on Earth, we'll remain there until you arrive, then we'll all return here together."

Lee nodded:"Very well sir shall make contact with Commander Winter, Captain Weatherlight and Commander Coleman and get under way soon."
