Mission: Mission 76 - Home comings
Location: USS Avenger-A

Ryan sat in his ready room going over the assignments for each vessel. He didn't like the looks of having a thin staff on board the Starbase, but he trusted the Admiral knew what he was up to. He had noted that Lieutenant Gillo and Warrant Officer Blackthorne was assigned to the Avenger for this mission. It would be handy to have them aboard with the limited crew the Avenger had now she was a bigger ship. Ryan sat the PADD down and proceeded to the Bridge.

== Bridge, USS Avenger-A ==

Ryan walked across the bridge to his chair and took a seat. Currently he did not have an executive officer to occupy the seat next to him, but he would make due with what he had. After a moment of getting positioned in his chair the first mission would be underway.

"Lieutenant Gillo, bring all systems online and signal flight control that we are leaving."

There was no formality when the Captain of the ship walked on the bridge so she just looked at him when he walked across to the command area turning back to her station when she was ready to get done paying a silent respect to his authority on his ship. When he spoke to her she responded immediately out of training more than anything else.

"Aye sir signaling flight control Avenger is green for launch." As she spoke the lights brightened on the bridge and power systems came to life for the first time in the ship's making on its own under the control of a humanoid. Seams the ship around her breathed a sigh of relief as every system came on-line independent from the starbase.

Ryan wasted no time in getting underway.

"Helm, take us out nice and slow. Rendezvous with the Pegesus."

The Ensign nodded and the ship slowly began to move toward the docking berth doors.

After what seemed like hours the ship cleared the station and came to a stop behind the Pegesus.

"Alright Lieutenant, Signal the Pegesus that we are awaiting orders."

This was not her first launch so she was not aw struck like many of the cadets were at the ship pulling away from starbase and turning towards the stars. The air buzzed with emotions and as a result Holly had to shut herself down. She kept herself aware of the people and emotions around her but was not completely open for it would overwhelm her and she would go insane in seconds.

"Signaling Pegesus now Captain. All system report green waiting for a response sir." The ship was under her own power and Holly was now 'trapped' on the ship. This would be an interesting voyage especially since Captain Greenwood didn't know about her little secrete about her reaction to warp.


Now all there was to do was wait.
