Location: Enterprise-E Officer's Mess
Timeline: Just after Harrison and Bremer's post

As Captain Harrison walked away, Mike turned to have a look at some of the pictures on display. Mike was looking at a few images of the Enterprise-E while she was under construction, when Commander Pike came in and walked over.

Lee noticed the Admiral "Hello sir, I have heard that we have lost both Colonel Borodin and Colonel Rico."

Mike nodded, "Unfortunately that's correct, both Colonel Borodin and Colonel Rico are no longer aboard. Why do you ask?"

Lee replied, "Well sir was thinking about it when heard they where leaving and if okay with you I would like to switch over to the Marines and take over as Marine Commander."

Mike took another sip of wine and thought about Pike's offer. He knew Lee had trained as a Marine so that wouldn't be an issue. He also new Captain Andrews could take over as Strategic Operations Officer since more of his current duties mirrored those of the Strat. Ops. It seemed like the best move.

"All right, approved. I'll talk to Terran about taking over the Strategic Operations position. You do understand that you'll be giving up command of the USS Laffey, since the USS Kearsarge is the Marine vessel?" Mike replied.

Lee nodded "Am glad to hear that you approve sir, I feel that I would be better suited as a Marine more. And do understand that am giving up command of the Laffey and am okay with that sir."

Mike nodded and smiled, "Then why are you in red instead of green? You're out of uniform Mister, but I suppose it can wait until after the ceremony"

Lee chuckled:"Yea guess am now out of uniform now sir. Don't worry after the ceremony will make sure to change from red into green sir."
