Mission: Mission 82 - The Aggressor
Location: Admiral Bremer's Office
Timeline: Directly Following ''Meeting the Drone"

ON:

It was a day for meetings. Mike had meet with T’Lar, Yamaguchi, Talan, and now Commander Coleman was on his way. Bremer wanted to go over the ongoing upgrades to the Pegasus, Essex, Venator, and Durga, as well as the progress on the Avenger’s and Kearsarge’s repairs, the Lexington’s replenishment and resupply, the Princeton’s modernization and recommissioning and the construction of the Yorktown-F and her launching.

A lot was going on aboard Starbase 400, and Mike had a feeling more was to come, especially if the blockade of Krazzle space was approved. Mike also had bad news for his Chief Engineer, but it was something any Chief Engineer heard from time to time, ‘work faster’. Mike needed some of his key vessels ready to go sooner rather than later, especially the Pegasus, Essex, Lexington, and Yorktown…especially because of the possible blockade.

As Coleman walked in, Mike stood, “Care for anything to drink?”

Coleman nodded and said, "No sir. I'm good, but thank you." Coleman walked over and handed a few PADDs he had in his hands to Bremer as he said, "These are the reports of the progress of the Pegasus, Essex, Venator, and Durga. We should hopefully have the Pegasus and Yorktown upgraded within three weeks or so and ready for trial runs in four. Venator and Durga will take a few months since they just started their work. As for the construction of the Yorktown-F, that's taking a little bit longer than I imagined."

Mike glanced at the PADDs, “What’s the delay with the Yorktown?”

Coleman said, "Well, I've been waiting on the spare parts for the Yorktown to be upgraded to the new positronic computer cores from Utopia Planetia Fleet Yards. They should have it here soon, but they're still backed up from trying to fix dozens of other ships up." He took a moment before continuing, saying, "The Lexington should be supplied and ready to go by the end of the week and as for the Princeton, she should be ready and rearing to go within a month."

“Very good.” Mike knew the Lexington’s resupply would be pretty quick, so that news was expected, however he was a little surprised the Princeton would be done so soon…then again she’d been undergoing work for the last several months. It would be nice to see a Constitution Refit in space once again. “That’s good news indeed.”

Coleman nodded, saying, "Yes. The engineering teams have been working hard on trying to get the new cores in place as soon as possible. Is there anything else you needed of me, sir?"

Mike shook his head, "No, just wanted an update. However, I would suggest making use of Miss Gillo and Mister La Baron, the Chief Operations and Chief Science Officers might be able to help with the issues with the new Core and systems' integration."

Coleman nodded. "Alright, sir. I will get with them right away and try to see what we can do to speed up the integration of the cores."

Mike nodded, "Thank you." Coleman nodded and left Bremer's Office.
