Going To Earth pt.1

Mission: Mission 81 - Revenge
Location: USS Essex
Timeline: Current

ON:

"Captain Greenwood, please report to OPS ASAP." Once he arrived, Deela put together her team.

"Captain Clifford, Lt. Commander Harris, Lt. Commander Yamaguchi, Commander Lokran and BG Jones, please report to the USS Essex as soon as possible. We will be departing SB400 as soon as everyone is aboard."

Andy Arrived to the Essex, and found the Bridge very familiar... He walked towards the command chair and looked at Deela while he said "Reporting as ordered Ma'am"

As he did that he looked at Clifford and made a gesture for him to stay seated and took the other seat next to his former CO. Andrew nodded to the Brigadier General, then remained seated.

Lt Commander Yamaguchi raised an eyebrow as she put the PADD that she was currently holding in one hand down on her desk as she heard her summons. She then turned to her desk and tapped out a short message for Racheal who she would have to leave behind on base, alone.

Once that was finished, she then walked over to the far sofa where a sizeable duffel pack had been sitting since she had moved into the office, she now picked it up and hurried out the door.

A short time later she boarded the USS Essex and obtained her temporary quarters pass from the ships quartermaster, she then dropped off her bags and then hurried up to the ships bridge where the Admiral was clearly waiting.

Deela debriefed her crew, "As most of you know, Admiral Bremer's wife's shuttle has been attacked, killing his two kids. His wife and other son are recuperating in Sickbay on the Pegasus and K'Wor is missing. The Pegasus is now in pursuit of the person who is responsible, Westmoreland. For some reason, he blames Bremer for his wife and child's death. I believe that someone in Starfleet has been aiding him. We'll be doing some investigating. Lets do this. Prepare to leave Starbase 400."

Deela sat in the command chair with Clifford next to her. Yamaguchi and Lokran at Tactical one and two. Jones sat in the other chair next to T'Lar. Harris arrived as well in the nick of time.

Yamaguchi looked her station over as she called up the ships tactical systems diagnostics as she wanted to make sure the Essex was in working order for this assignment, it also covered her anger because the one thing she simply could not tolerate on any level was violence towards children. She had never raised her hand to any of her babies and she never would.

For Andy this reminded him too much of the death of his family and sweared in silence to help Bremer to get retaliation and revenge

Yamaguchi raised an eyebrow as she looked over the display before her as it told her that the USS Essex was prepped and ready for anything, from a major ballroom gala in her foreward lounge to the next galactic war as she sighed softy as she raised a hand to her foreward, clearly in discomfort.

Andrew continued to monitor the ships status from his chair. As the last of the crew boarded the Essex, he looked over at the Admiral. "Everyone is aboard Admiral, we are cleared to leave Starbase 400".

"Excellent. Let's put her in motion and get out of here." Deela settled into her chair.

Yamaguchi turned her lovely dark eyes from her station to the viewscreen as she sometimes enjoyed seeing ships departing and ariving from the Starbase but a sudden wave of emotion impacted her as she suddenly snarled, her cheecks pulled back as she bared her teath and for one moment she looked truly enraged but she controled it before it could sweep her away ther way a riptide would wash sand off of a shore.

She closed her eyes as she sighed softly, she was leaving her daughter all alone aboard a starbase she could not call home but what she did not know was that the USS Courageous had just arived.

She called up a short range scan of the area and as she noticed the two dozen or so expected combadge signals which indicated ships and stations, she noticed 'USS COURAGEOUS - NCC-71932".

Torilla instantly tapped the signal as she relized her husband had come here for one reasion, to see her and she wouldn't be around to spend time with him with only made her angrier as she quickly tapped out a text message for his eyes only quickly spelling out her situation and that she was heading off base for an unknown ammount of time, that Racheal was aboard base and she was alone, once she finished it, she quickly sent the message.

A moment later his reponse came back. "Understood. I'll see you soon, I love you. J Yamaguchi."

Torilla smiled and then went back to work.

Deela looked around. She saw faces that weren't her usual crew. But that was fine.

As Andy received the all go departments he said looking to Deela "Ready when you are ma'am."

"Good. Begin undocking procedures, one-forth impulse power."

The ship gently edged away from its mooring and turned towards the opening doors of the starbase. As soon as the starship cleared the doors the impulse engines kicked in and push the Essex quickly away from the starbase and into open space.

Andrew watched as the helmsman looked around and said, "We are free and clear to navigate, Admiral".

Andrew looked at Admiral T'lar, "Speed, Ma'am?"

She thought to herself, "Warp ten would be nice." But she held her restraint, "Warp eight." She was in a hurry to talk to Fleet Admiral Nechayev.
