***** Control Tower - Starbase 400 *****

The Dockmaster was an older Starfleet Officer who was highly experianced,
he watched over the dozen stations which were directly in front of him and
all of them were manned at all times as the Control tower had direct
responsibility for all commings and goings around Starbase 400, Federation
starships also listened to him, hell even Admiral Bremer listened to him
but when the Admiral went somewhere, he cleared away enough traffic to
ensure the Admiral and whatever he had going with him could get going to
a minamum of fuss.

This usualy left the Senior Chief with about four hours of work to untangle
a complete unholy mess from such a departure but he was okay with that, the
Admiral afterall was a busy man and clearly had places to go, things to do
and wrongs to right.

He was interupted from his reverie when he heard one of his younger officers
speaking into an open comline. "Confirmed USS Couargeous, you are cleared
to approch the base and drop off one shuttle, what are your intentions after
that?"

"Intentions are to depart and transit out of this sector to study a small
gasious anomaly which has recently appeared near the Neutral zone." came
the response from an officer who had an odd accent, it took the Senior Chief
a moment to place it and then he smiled as it came to him, this could only
be Commander Hulan Nebar, the Exec of the USS Courageous.

He walked over as he came to a stop next to the officer in question who
indicated with his hands as he brought up the sector map and sure enough
there was a federation combadge, marked in gold which meant a large starship
wasapproching the system at high warp.

The Chief tapped the combadge once as the letters and numbers began to appear before him as if conjured by magic. "USS COURAGEOUS - NCC-71932".

"Long before she arives?"

"About ten minutes Chief, she's dropping off a shuttle then departing again."

The Chief nodded. "Very well. Who's the most senior officer availible on base?"

The Ensign thought about it. "Admiral T'Lar and Captains Clifford and Greenwood"

The Chief considered it. "Sned a message to all three and advise them of who's comming to viset. Lets hope Jake Yamaguchi is not the type to stand on ceremony."
