The duty nurse moved Janice's arm gently as she readjusted a warming pillow. She felt the woman's muscle flex slightly, and heard her breathing deepen.

"Doctor Brislan," she said.

Tressa came over as Janice moved her head; she was regaining consciousness.

"Colleen, let's get her a vitamin/analgesic combo shot and some water," she said. "I'll alert Admiral Bremer."

"Yes, doctor," the nurse replied. Janice sighed when the hypo hissed on her arm.

"Hello Janice, I am Lieutanant Brier, you are in Sickbay," she said, stroking her face and arm.

Doctor Mclintock entered the room, with Tressa close behind.

"The Admiral is en route, Computer, dim lights to twenty-five percent," she said, watching as Janice slowly opened her eyes.

A moment later Admiral Bremer entered the room.
