Mission: Mission 81 - Revenge
Location: USS Pegasus, Sick Bay
Timeline: Following 'Investigation Begins'

Mike was still sitting with Janice. He looked up at Doctor Brislan.

"How is she?"

"She's stable, we expect her to regain consciousness within the hour," Tressa replied. "There were several small wounds, predominately to her head and upper back, and a concussion. She will need some time to recover from the head trauma, so she will be our guest for a few days," she added, gently touchiing Janice's arm.

Mike whipped his eyes, "Thank you Doctor."

He stood up, then leaned down and kissed Janice on the cheek.

"Let me know as soon as either her or Christopher wakes up." He added.

He left Sick Bay and headed for the Bridge, along the way he stopped in his Quarters. Even though he didn't 'live' aboard the Pegasus anymore, he'd kept his Quarters set us the same as he always had.

He looked around for a moment, standing the middle of the room. He closed his eyes for a moment, trying to focus, but a wave of anger swept over him and he let out a loud roar.

He reached out, grabbed his shrine to Kahless and threw it again the wall, shattering it. His breathing was fast and heavy, and as he reached for a lamp he stopped himself and dropped to the floor.

After a moment, the sat up, closed his eyes, and started to use a Vulcan technique he'd learned to control his breathing and clear his mind. He sat there, meditating for a few minutes before standing up and opening his eyes. He took one more deep breath, then left his quarters and again headed for the Bridge.



As he entered the Bridge, he could hear and feel the room go silent. Mike looked around at everyone for a moment...

"As you were." He said.

Mike walked over beside Harrison and glanced at the Tactical Sensors for a moment, then without a word to walked down the ramp and into his Ready Room.
