Location: Pegasus, Bridge
Timeline: Following 'Awake'

ON:

K'Temoc had watched Mike come onto the Bridge, then enter his Ready Room. He could only imagine how hard it was for his brother. He knew how hard this was for him, and that it had to be ten-times worse for Mike...

He looked back at Roebuck, "Come on."

The two men left the Bridge, walking back into the Observation Lounge. K'Temoc pointed to the monitor on the far wall as he accessed the one closest to him.

Roebuck knew what K'Temoc wanted, and he walked over to the far wall and accessed the monitor, bringing up a communications channel. A moment later, the face of Lieutenant Paul MacLeod appeared on the screen.

"Commander Roebuck, how can I help you?"

"Lieutenant, I wanted to ask you aboard your recent attack while as DS9. We have reason to believe it could be part of a wider plot." Roebuck stated.

"What do you mean? I was the only person aboard DS9 that was attacked." MacLeod replied, confused.

"You're friends with Admiral Bremer, correct?"

MacLeod nodded, "I am."

"The Admiral's twin twelve year old children were killed and his oldest son kidnapped yesterday. We're looking into the fact that the attack on you and this crime could be related. There were other close friends to the Admiral that were also recently attacked." Roebuck explained.

Macleod sat down, he'd only met the twins once, but he'd known K'Wor for years. He wasn't sure what to say.... "I um, I was visiting DS9, waiting transport to Gateway Station. I never saw the man that attacked me, assumed it was a robbery attempted and I'd walked in on him before he could take anything. My quarters were locked, and he bypassed the lock like a pro. He hit me over the head, but before he could do anything else he was spotted by passer-bys and he ran off."

Roebuck nodded, "When do you leave DS9?"

"Tomorrow."

"I'm sending a request to Vice Admiral Sisko, requesting a list of all ships that arrived and departed two days before and after the attack on you." Roebuck replied.

"They looked into it, but nothing was out of the ordinary."

"That was when they were investigating this as a stand alone robbery attempt." Roebuck replied.

"Point taken. I'll go to Ops and see if I can get the information sent to the Pegasus now. Macleod out."

While Roebuck was talking to Macleod, K'Temoc had hailed the USS Rhode Island...

"Hey Harry, good to see you again...just wish it was under better circumstances." K'Temoc said.

"So do I. How's Mike holding up?" Harry replied.

"One can only imagine, but on the outside he's a rock."

Harry nodded. "Your message said it was urgent?"

"It is, we have reason to believe the attack on you might be related to this, and other recent attacked on personal friends of the Admiral." K'Temoc explained. "Can you send us a copy of your reports related to the attack on you?"

"Sure, I'll transmit them now. You said you think they are related?"

"We do. Along with yourself, Mike's friend David Slater was found dead, supposedly suicide, but we'd just spoken to him a few days before and he was doing great, dating a new woman. Also, Paul MacLeod was attacked on DS9, he's all right. Now this...it just smells personal." K'Temoc said.

"I agree, too many random acts, all at the same time. Do you have an suspects?" Harry asked.

"Not yet. We're hoping the information you send, as well as the Security reports on David's death and Paul's attack will help. We're still investigating here too, checking sensor logs from the Runabout, running sensor scans..." K'Temoc trailed off, he knew Harry understood.

"Keep me update, and please give him my best." Harry said.

"I will. How are you feeling?"

"Better, wounds have healed, just some soreness." Harry replied.

K'Temoc nodded. "I'll be in touch."

He closed the comm, then looked back at Roebuck.

"I've sent a message to the Security Office on Alpha
Centauri, requesting their reports regarding Slater's death. Also, MacLeod and Vice Admiral Sisko are gathering the reports on MacLeod's attack on DS9..." He was cut off when the panel beeped.

"Got em, the reports from DS9 are in." Roebuck said.

"I've got the ones from the Rhode Island." K'Temoc added. "Let's look over, compare the facts, see if there's anything similar between them." He tapped a few commands and brought up both reports on a split screen and the two men started reading...
