STARBASE 400 OPS

“Vice Admiral T’Lar to Ops, immediately!”

When she go there, Archer stood up, "Vice Admiral T'Lar."

"What is the emergency? K’Temoc seemed upset."

He reported what he told Bremer, "Bremer was supposed to go on his trip but he stayed to talk to Tomalak. So he told his wife and the kids to go on without him. Desica II’s space port reported that his wife's runabout hadn't arrived yet."

Archer handed her the same PADD that he gave to Bremer, "Also, a Bolian freighter reported to DS6 that they spotted a Federation Runabout adrift. They relayed the coordinates which matched the last known position of the Cherokee.

"Oh no. I don't like where this is going. Where is Bremer and K’Temoc now?"

"They took the Pegasus and went to intercept the runabout." Archer informed her.

"Okay. I'm sure as soon as they find something, they'll contact us." She started to pace, like she usually did when worried. Red flags were going up in her mind. "As soon as Bremer checks in, let me know."

PEGASUS BRIDGE

Word got to the bridge very quickly. Alex's happiness was short lived as tragedy has once again hit them. This time, it was Bremer's family, a personal vendetta.

Alex tried to hold the tears back but she couldn't. She kept her back to the bridge crew so no one could see her face. She had been on this ship for a very long time and when it came to the Admiral's kids, you could not help but get attached to them. Alex wiped off her cheeks as she kept watch on the sensors.
