ON:

Mike had returned to his Quarters, along with Sisko, Kira, Bashir, K’Temoc, and K’Wor. When Marc and Emma saw their dad, uncle, and older brother come in, then ran toward them.
Sisko smiled and let out a breath, “They sure have grown.”

Mike looked around, he didn’t see his wife or youngest son. “I’ll be right back.” He said has he walked down the hall. He heard Janice telling their youngest son Christopher, “I’ll be out in a minute.” Mike couldn’t help but to smile.

Christopher heard Mike coming and turned around to see who it was, “Daddy!” Mike picked him up and gave his son a hug. “Mommy’s in there.” He said.

Mike put his son down, “K’Wor and K’Temoc are in the den.”

“There’s here!” Christopher excitedly said as he ran down the hall way. Mike couldn’t help but to smile as he watched his two year old, then turned and tapped in the unlock code to his and Janice’s bedroom and he stepped inside.

Janice heard the door open and popped her head out of the bathroom to see who it was. When she realized it was her husband, she step out, dressed only in a towel and a smile.

Mike smiled at his wife and kissed her, “Nice outfit.”

“You like it huh?” Janice replied with a smile.

“Very much, you’ll have to put it back on later.” Mike replied, still smiling.

“Later? Janice replied playfully and started to undo the towel…

“We have guests, Ben Sisko, Kira, and Julian are here.” Mike added in a more serious tone.

“Here, all the way from DS9!” Janice asked. Business?

Mike nodded, “Afraid so. Odo is here too.”

Janice’s expression change to one of concern. “Business for sure.”

“I’ve invited them for dinner, we can talk more about what’s going on once the kids go to bed.” Mike added.

“Sounds good.” Janice replied, then she took a step back and removed her towel, “And we’ll save this for later.” She tossed the towel at Mike as she smiled.

A few minutes later, Mike and Janice returned to the Den. Ben, Kira, and Julian stood and Janice hugged them all. It had been years since she had seen them. About the same time Becca came in. Julian turned around to see the young woman coming in. His eyes lite up and he flashed his boyish smile.

“Hello, I’m Julian, Doctor Bashir.”

Becca smiled and blushed, Mike smirked then said, “Doctor…that’s Becca.

“Uh, umm…” Julian said as he blushed. He hadn’t seen her in several years, he didn’t even recognize her.

K’Temoc smirked, “She’s grown up since you saw he last huh?”

“Umm, yes, quiet.” Bashir replied as he cleared his throat.

“It’s good to see you again to Doctor.” Becca replied with a smile, still blushing.

After a moment, Ben stood up, “Okay, which way is the kitchen.”

Mike smiled, “Come on. Everything in there is fresh too.”

After dinner, Mike and Janice put their youngest three children to bed. The they joined K’Temoc, Sisko, Kira, Bashir, K’Wor, and Becca in the den and discussed the upcoming mission. Janice offered to go along too, but Mike shook his head and reminded her she was officially retired now.

The group stayed up chatting til after zero-one hundred hours before calling it a night. The group from Deep Space Nine said their good nights and left for their temporary quarters aboard Starbase 400 for the night. K’Temoc, K’Wor, and Becca also left for their own quarters to get a good night’s sleep.

“What time are you getting up?” Janice asked Mike as they walked to their bedroom.

“Zero-five thirty. I want to go over a few things then make sure the Pegasus is ready to go before meeting General Jones aboard the Sutherland to get him settled in there, command codes set up…”

Janice cut him off, “Good, then you have a little time for me before you have to sleep.” She smiled as she pulled him into the bed room and the door shut.
