R'nard accompanied the prisoners and the other security to the high security brig.

"Make sure that none comes in, and I mean nobody without my authorization." he ordered. "I will be in my quarters for a few minutes. Call me if you need me." He then left.

He needed to get back to his quarters to get into his uniform again. He had stretched regulations to be out of uniform for so long, and he didn't want to press his luck.

While he was in his quarters, he had some time for meditation. He got it whenever he could, and it energized him.

His additional training in Special Forces also included some mental disciplines that Master B'roo hadn't taught him, but was necessary in his sensitive line of work. He had been trained by a Vulcan and a Betazoid to resist any mental probes, and it was rigorous. But he learned from them, until he could become inpenetrable to even their mental probes, as they wanted. And he had trained hard in that area, to resist.

His meditation complete, he put on a new uniform and headed out. He would soon be called by command, he guessed, due to the gravity of the situation.
