Mission: Mission 79 - Triangle
Location: Observation Lounge
Timeline: After Mission Briefing

ON:

As everyone got up to leave Ryan had one more piece of business.

"Ensign K'Wor, can remain a moment?"

The young man stopped, waited for Coleman and Graham to pass, then walked back toward the conference table, concern shown on his face, "Yes sir?"

Ryan waited for everyone to clear the room.

"Computer, Seal this room."

The computer chirped in acknowledgement.

"Ensign, I have a mission for you."

Ryan paused a moment.

"A mission that you can decline if you wish. Before I continue I need you to understand that this mission is to not leave this room under orders from Starfleet Command. Understood?"

K'Wor looked at the Captain for a moment, unsure what to expect, but he felt his heart racing and his Klingon blood boiling. "I understand sir."

Ryan nodded.

"The reason Ensign, that I did not have you lead the mission is I have a special mission for you. Starfleet Intelligence has reported that the ship holding the Major may have gathered some data which could compromise the Federation's security. I want you to set charges on the computer core while we are rescuing the Major. Once we have beamed off, detonate those charges. That will prevent any data from being able to be recovered."

Ryan paused.

"If we are lucky the data will not have left the ship since Pirates do not like to part with something worth value so soon."

He looked at the Ensign.

"Are your orders understood?"

K’Wor nodded. “Fully sir.”

This he was actually looking forward too. He had already taken the Starfleet Security and Marine training and tests regarding demolition as well as recovery of data, now it was time to test what he’d learned.

“I’ll make it look like a computer core malfunction Captain, they’ll never know anyone was in there.” He then added, his confidence rising.

"Good. Lets prepare for this mission Ensign."

The Acting-Ensign nodded as the room was unsealed and the two men left to prepare.
