Location: USS Avenger
Timeline: Before the Staff Meeting

ON:

Ryan entered the turbolift followed by his Executive officer

"Deck 3."

The Turbolift began to move.

As the turbolift began to move, Coleman looked over at Greenwood and said, "What was the message from Admiral T'Lar about, sir?"

"Major Hudd has been captured by Pirates and the Admiral's ship is in no condition to pursue. We are the closest to rescue the Major."

Coleman nodded as he said, "Well, what do you think we should do next, sir? Any idea on our next move to try and find him?"

"Well it seems that the Pirates will not negotiate easily. I will lead a rescue mission once we find the ship that has the Major on board. We will need all defensive systems ready as I am sure they wont just hand him over."

The doors to the turbolift opened.

As they walked out of the turbolift, Coleman walked behind Greenwood. He was quiet for a moment before speaking up and saying, "I'll make sure that the science department is ready and after the meeting, I'll check in with the other department heads as well. How much longer before we are in interception range?"

They continued to walk towards the conference room, where the senior staff had been summoned. They stopped at the conference room door.

"Approximately 4 hours."

The doors opened and Ryan walked in.

Coleman walked in behind him and into the senior staff meeting.
