Location: USS Yorktown, Bridge
Timeline: Following the Avenger JP

ON:

“Try it now.” K’Temoc said and he laid on his back, half under the Tactical One station on the Yorktown’s Bridge.

The Petty Officer standing beside the station tapped a few commands in, “Weapons targeting initia...” Before he could finish, the station’s upper display blew out and sent the Petty Officer to the deck...

The Captain slid out from under the station and checked on the injured man as he tapped his comm badge, “Bridge to Sick-Bay, medical emergency.”

K’Temoc grabbed a medkit and used the hypo to administer some anaprovaline to ease the injured man’s pain. A few moments later, a medical team arrived and carried the injured Petty Officer to Sick Bay.

Alone on the Bridge, K’Temoc slowly up. He tapped a few commands into the Tactical One station and shut it down. There was nothing to say really, the ship was defenseless. As the anger at the situation rose, K’Temoc slammed his fist on to the Tactical One station, shattering the panel. Sharp edges cut into his hand, and blood dripped away, but he seemed unaware of the pain.

He took a deep breath and walked over to the Conn/Ops position and took a seat. The Yorktown was nearing the Kaleb system and would soon be dropping out of warp on her final approach to the station.

This was not he’d wanted the Yorktown to return to Starbase 400...
