Mission: Episode 119 - "Shattered Mirror"
Location: Main Engineering Office
Timeline: Mission Day 3 10:00

Percy was going through the rooster of his team to assign them to the daily and weekly tasks. He noticed a few new names, and his assistant helped him.


Dee looked up from the padd she was reading and sat in Percy's office. “We have a fair number of new crew in engineering.” She commented.


“Very true. I don’t even know most of their names to begin with“, Percy said, smiling. “We have a lot of work to get done this week. Where is it best to put them to work?” He asked.

“Well, we recently had a lot of new equipment in the main hangers, so perhaps we can have some there. Then, there are the updates to all the holodecks. “ Dee commented.


Percy took the suggestion in and listened to Dee. “These are good options. We might need four engineers in the main hangers to sort through all the new equipment. Do we need more?“He thought the question out and continued, “ What sort of updates would the Holodecks be getting?”

Dee picked up her padd and scrolled through it. “Safety enhancements and new programs for leisure, relaxation and Starfleet Training. Four should be enough to sort out all the latest equipment, but we may need more when installing it. Not all of it needs to be installed straight away.

“I like these new upgrades for the holodecks, installing it would take almost the rest of the team. Wouldn’t you thinks so too.” Percy said.

“That’s true. Best to do them in batches, otherwise people might complain if we took all the holodecks offline at once.” Dee commented. She paused. “Complain? What am I thinking, they won't just complain, there could be an outright revolt.” She laughed.

Percy laughed as well. He then went off topic ”How are you? I heard some rumours that you have a partner? Did i hear that right.” Percy said being curious wanting to get know her better.

“I see the Starbase 400 grapevine is thriving as always. I'm pretty good and it's not a rumour, I have met someone. His name is Jaxon.” Dee smiled just at saying his name.

“I am glad to hear that, is he treating you well? Percy asked.

“Definitely. He's amazing. So sweet and kind but also has a vulnerable side which is so charming.”

“Sounds like a dream come true” Percy said smiling.

“It does seem that way. My parents are happy that I've found someone. Especially my mother, who has once again started talking about whether my cot I had as a baby might soon be used again.” Dee replied with a slight groan.


“It is great that your parents are ok.” he said smiling and continuing “when I talk to my mother she does the same.”

“Don't get me wrong, I do want to have children but not quite yet. I just love my job right now and my child-free existence.” She added

„I fully understand you in that regard.“ he nodded in acceptance. „ I heard your family got a business. How did that happen?“ Percy asked to get to know a little better.

“Oh yeah. It's been in the family for at least 400 years. My family has been producing one of Trill’s most well-known and loved liquors known as Lakshara. It's made from various fruits grown in the Tulmeya province on Trill. It was restricted to the home world for a while after Trill joined the Federation but the demand for it soon became hard to ignore and so now it is shipped across the Alpha Quadrant.”


“That’s a great legacy of your family. Are there any sold here on the station? He asked.

“Of course. But the bars on the promenade don't have anything like the bottle in my quarters. That one is a special edition that was produced to mark the 4 centuries of its production. You are welcome to try some. “ Dee commented.

"I will take you up on your offer," Percy said smiling.

After the catch up Dee and Percy got back to work.
