Mission: Mission 78 - Colonial Uprising
Location: USS Yorktown
Timeline: Following K'Temoc's last post

ON:

Captain’s Log, Stardate 65846.4. The Yorktown is nearing the Boyden system and the damaged Cardassian ship Kreta. I have a feeling this will be related to the missing Sydney class runabouts.

“Captain we’re entering the Boyden system, and I have a Cardassian Keldon class cruiser on sensors.” The Ensign at the Conn reported.

“Take us out of warp and along side of the Kreta.” K’Temoc replied. He then tapped the comm button on his right side panel, “Sensor Staff report to the Bridge.”

The Yorktown dropped to impulse and eased closer to the larger Cardassian ship…

“Yorktown to Kreta, please respond.” K’Temoc called over the comm.

“Yorktown, this is the Kreta, Gul Mavek here.”

“Mavek, this is K’Temoc, what happened?

“We located our missing Freighter when we were attacked by three Sydney type Runabouts and a modified Peregrine type Interceptor. They knew exactly where to hit us and their first shots knocked out our weapons and warp engines. They had raided our Freighter, took everything of value.” Mavek explained.

“Do you know where they went?” K’Temoc asked.

“Our sensors were damaged, but we tracked them as they passed the third moon of Boyden II.”

“How are your repairs coming?”

“We should have warp power in the next few hours.”

K’Temoc nodded, “Is there anything you need?”

“Perhaps a half dozen micro-generators and a portable power converter.” Mavek replied.

“Understood, we’ll transport them over. Please send us your sensor logs of those attacking ships.”

“Data transfer in progress.” Mavek paused a moment, “Thank you Captain.” He closed the comm.

K’Temoc looked back at the Petty Officer at the aft Bridge station, “Beam the supplies over.” He then turned forward and looked toward O’Riely who was now at the Conn. “As soon as transport is complete plot a course to follow those Sydneys.”

The Defiant class Yorktown, still under cloak, turned away from the Kreta and took off after the Sydneys. K’Temoc looked over the sensor readings the Cardassians sent over…

“These are defiantly three of the ships we’re after, but this modified Peregrine looks familiar…I just can’t place it.” K’Temoc said as he thought aloud.

“Captain, I have three Sydney class ships on long range sensors, three light years away, dead ahead.” O’Riely reported.
